I didn’t realize the AliEpress retailer I purchased this light from was the same retailer that I purchased my Trustfire TR-J12. So I was really happy when Emmy contacted me with with the status of my purchase and should have it in a few days. She did a great job getting my TR-J12 to me in mint condition, so I’m sure this light will be as great.

I got all my stuffs from the same supplier, be it normal mail or using DHL. DHL is for my j18 to see which factory the good are coming from. “all are genuine”

i think Mr 2100 also got some of his stuffs from China East Face too.

Hi Cop, thanks for chiming in on this. That’s great news to hear.

Hi Guys,

China East Face is a great find. Did you pay $88.91 including shipping or were you able to negotiate a lower price? Note that he is quoting a bulk price (qty 3) of additional 29% off?

Regards,
Bob

P.S. Ric won’t touch these prices

Sounds great, but keep in mind we need to support guys like Ric- he’s a rarity in that he listens to what we want and then takes some action in improving the light offerings… by the way, what you gonna do with 3 of them???

STILL want to know the output lumens of this thing (said by the guy who doesn’t do anything to find out himself but bugs everyone else about it!!? 0:) ) :stuck_out_tongue:

Just to mention- this is the best forum, hands down

Well said and true. Its all to easy to forget and many cases its a matter a few bucks . I would rather
give the business to Ric.

+1 We must support him (and I.O:)

I think they may have been running a special for about 4 days, but I paid $88.91 for it. I felt it was a very fair price and I don’t think any other retailer would have matched it. I’ll know on Tuesday if it’s worth the price or not, but I love these 26650 lights, so I’m sure I’ll love it no matter how hard or soft it’s driven. It’s been my experience diving lights tend to be driven easier, but we’ll have an answer to that in a few days.

NOTE: As of now, the price special seems to be over and is back up to US $104.60 including shipping.

I bought 2 of them for $227.98 with batteries, charger and free shipping from Ali Express.
Doing some ocean and cenote diving in Mexico soon and these lights are gonna rock… Assuming I come up with a diffuser lol

Hi gang,

Just got my TR-DF003 2x26650 3xCREE Diving Light. Man is this tailcap huge!
Briefly tested it in the house to make sure it worked and all seems great. The Trustfire 5000mAh batteries appears excellent and both came with a static charge of 3.65v. I’m testing the dual bay TF charger now.

The tailcap reading on HIGH mode was 1.92a using a different set of Trustfire 5000mAh batteries fully charged. I’ll post some beam shots and other photos later tonight for you all.

Also, anyone looking to purchase from this same retailer, I can assure you Emmy is really on the ball. This package was so securely packaged, it’s Trustfire box placed inside a heavy duty cardboard box that was virtually impossible to damage the flashlight.

1.92A confirmed me 1500± OTF
beamshot! beamshot! beamshot! beamshot! beamshot!

Hi Pok, yep, that’s the number I got. As soon as the other batteries are charged, I’ll get a lux reading too. There may be a delay with the beam shots, it just started to thunder storm here, damn it.

Here are a few shots comparing size to the Trustfire TR-J12 and Fandyfire/Ultrafire HD-2010.

That’s thicker than i would have guessed. Tail cap looks like it doubles as meat tenderizer or a “STFU or else” tail.

I did find it for $84 shipped and a US seller. Im going to run it past Ric first. Thanks for the pics, let us know what you think of the finish etc…

Thanks for your pics Richie and still waiting for your review

Finish is surprisingly good on both my lights, no chips or missed spots, non anodized threads though. One light was greased and the other was not.
Each light has 10… yes 10 O-rings! This light is at least double the output of my Malkoff triple Q5 mag rated at 700 lumens OTF.
They are heavy but it feels really good in the hand. Wish they would take one of the four fins off around the head to make room for a bigger hand.

That was really funny and probably the best way to describe the massive size of the tail cap. The finish or anodizing is flawless and I love the anodized tail treads so it can be locked out. The bezel easily removes to reveal a collar that can be unscrewed to get to the LED/reflector, but I didn’t go that far with it. My O-rings were not greased, but I did grease them before I did anything to the light because I didn’t want to risk tearing them.

Hmmm. One guy says the threads ARE anodized and the other guy says they are NOT. Standards or quality control issues?
