Any info about UniqueFire UF-T20?

Yes, nice looking, but if it is not well designed or performs bad…… :~
I can not find any info over internet….

That’s pretty cool. Hopefully someone with a ZY C10 will get it and report back.

i think…its a wolfeyes clone…if this will be with the glass optic, and good driver led, this will the best cheap zooming flashlite…i think.
cos the original wolfeyes is the best i know…perfect…and the new model raptor tac is also much better…i will buy this one for trial…perfect flashlite!!!

Heatsinking worries me themost. I can change the diriver or even make it direct drive.
But what will happen with internals, due heat, than??? :o

Id direct drived T6 fries in it Ill replace it with directly driven R5 to see will it fry.
Than with Q5/R2 :o

Anybody got that light already?
SOmehow I have great expectations regarding its performance… (I dont expect it to be some superg thrower, but nevertheless…)

I wonder how it will do at 150 meters.

Actually this is what light i wish i would have got instead of this light XM-L Light, 26650/18650/4xAAA Good Price and 57mm head . I have c10 already.

I have it in my cart at Manafont….It looks like a good one!

What do you more experienced guys think about making it direct drive?

I also have C10 (made it DD), but I think this could be brighter at some reasonable distance, I mean wider hotspot, I dont know. I know it wont outhrow C10.

But C10 has rather small hotspot on shorter distances. ANd if you unfocus it, its often to dim. Its a great thrower, on the other hand.

Unlike C10, it says that it has mode-memory.
And again blinking mode, aaaargh. LIke someone wold ever need it with that light :000

Just another thought about XML zoomies in general (although it comes from a guy who bought 5 different XML zoomies in last 2 days :o this forum is guilty for that)
I think XMl zoomies are nothing special.
Aspherics with XREs give exceptional throw.
YOu cannot expect such throw or anything similar with similar diammeter aspheric lens and XML.

Yes it has nice spill. But for example KE5 with XML, it throws 200 meters without a problems, and it has lot of spill in the same time too. So it seems to me much stronger light and even lmore versatile light than XML zoomie
I tested few lights just this night. I compared it with Z5 XML zoomie.
ALl in all, i think XMLs place is in reflectors. Yeah there’s nice wide spill with aspheric zoomie, but I dont know, something is missing. (Like its a flashligt for kid or for a woman, hahha) Ill probably not be satisfied before we have XML zoomie with 60mm wide lens

In reflector it simply seems and is more powerful. I think most people would prefer to walk around with XML in reflector, little focused, than with totaly unfocused zoomie, with a huge circle spill, walking like same braindead dummie with it

it has plastic lens…no glass…som,it will be nothing special i think…

I just paid for 2 to get it of my mind. (I took 2 because you actually save money when you buy 2   )

Seriously, why do you think the lens is plastic?

I don’t know about this one, but I wouldn’t be scared for the fact it has a plastic lens, there are very good plastic lenses, in fact I have been luckier with plastic lenses than with glass ones.

By the way, I didn’t hear very good things about the original, lets see how performs its clone.

Here’s one topic for discussion.
http://www.wolf-eyes.com/product/Night%20Hunter%20Detail.html

See cdi specs on that website.
How is it possible that both R2 and U2 versions have same lux???

Also nice review here Wolf-Eyes Night hunter | Candle Power Flashlight Forum
it says that R2 version is way better than R5 version (and R5 version is maybe way better than this T6 version  )
All in all, its a XML T6 zoomie, If I had common sens I wouldnt buy it :o.

That configuration (XML zoomie in general) is good for bikes maybe, and for 14500 pocket lights. Although Sipik SK68 is more than enough for pocket light :o
I woudlike a flashlight where you push a hidden button, and pill rotates itself horisontally, flips itself u liek registration plates on Bond’s car, and, for example, XML emmiter gets switched with XRE emmiter
Than you push hidden button again, you have green light, once more and you have ballon popping laser, etc.

I just ordered one. If the build is anything like the Wolfeyes, it should be worth a 22 dollar gamble.

I am hoping it will be a good general purpose XML flashlight without the hotspot and spill that is present with a reflectored light.

Thanks everyone for the heads-up and links.

In worst case scenario Ill swap it with some R2 (maybe even green emmiter), to make it a good thrower.
Its better looking than C10

I would be interested to see how that turned out. You might create a poor man’s Dereelight DBS XR-E aspherical.

The bezel diameter of the Dereelight is around 50mm and the UF-T20 is 45mm.

I’d like to do the same but I’m still trying to locate an XR-E R2 from a reputable source. You know of one? They’re hard to come by these days.

wonder if that wolf eyes dual switch tailcap would fit this. that looks like a sweet setup for hunting!

I bought this the other day too and if the xml sucks, out it goes!I just want to see the pill first and with any luck it's nice and beefy.

they said-its a plastic lens.who knows, but maybe it will be the same such a yezl t9…who knows.the original performs very good.the best zoom light i have…no problems with it yet…
