Aspheric Condenser Lens

Aspheric condenser Lenses
Steep aspheric lens surfaces produce large angles of refraction and hence short focal lengths. Aspheric lens surfaces can also be free from spherical aberration. For these reasons aspheric lenses produce highly efficient low f/number light condensers. They can be used to collimate or focus a lamp output or to collect radiation from a distant point and condense it onto a detector surface.
Tooling costs are lower because we do not use moulds.
We have competitive pricing and short lead-time for custom aspherical lenses in prototype or large manufacturing needs.

Diameter range: 10mm-350mm

Because our manufacturing facility is extremely flexible we are just as happy to produce few pieces as we are to produce large volume.
Enquiries for prototypes are welcome.
Please contact us for any of your optical needs.

It would be cool if someone who has matched up a specific flashlight to one of these lenses would share that info.

I ordered two of 100mm.

They are not aspheric lenses with curve at front and flat at bottom,
But they have small curve at bottom, so hotspot come with ringing at beam profile.

Still find for this host

Spamish first post but Iā€™ll bite, do you have any 51-52mm diameter by 35-38mm Focal lenght? This is what most C-D maglights take to focus properly a XR-E, XP-G, XM-L or even SST50 or 90, If you can confirm or even post some pictures you would surely make a killing selling this aspherics here and in CPF

Anyone know what dimensions and focal lenght the Mini DEFT Seraph host uses?

Other interesting aspheric dimensions he could check?

Thanks!

+1

Also interested in an aspheric to fit mag C head.

Hi Raymond,
Nice to see you here. Been spreading the word on your lenses. I have been using the 50mm A293 & A293MC (AR coated) on my D Maglite conversions and on my TR-1200 PT54 mod for a while with success. Noticed that the 80mm (A142) lens is not listed anymore. Is it coming back?
Hey guys here on BLF, not all lenses are suitable for aspheric use. Try at your own risk.
Willie

Welcome to the forum, optolife. You may wish to make a post announcing your forum presence in the ā€œcommercial sellersā€™ spot.ā€

Most of us are looking for plano-convex lenses, with a fairly short back focal length. Lenses with a BFL longer than the diameter of the lens is of little use to most here.

Conversely, lenses with a BFL less than the diameter of the lens, especially AR-coated, would generate quite a bit of interest.

What are the minimum quantities required for a small custom run ?

Oldlumens,

The focal length is different from both links you provided, the anchor optics would work but I think the optolife would not, AOptics one is 33mm EFL and the OLife is 67mm EFL, too much IMHO to properly focus in a mag.

I Wonder if Optolife is going to chime in here, or this was just a driveby spam post? Hate those kind of spammers!

More than likely Raymond (Optolife) did a google search and noticed that there were many hits here and at CPF using ā€Optolifeā€. Hence he made an appearance. Not your typical spammer.

Would an aspheric work in an ebay HID?

Thatā€™s a good question! I think you would have to have the bulb vertical to the lens to focus on the actual arc, but the results would not be as good as witha led, I have seen aspherics focusing incandescent lights and it just projects an image if the burning filament, my guess is that it will project an image of the arc.

Make yourself at home, optolife!

willie, thanks for your business.

We just made A142 and there are still 2pcs left in stock. We just updated the database and you can buy online now.

And you are right, NOT all the aspheric lenses are suitable for you. They are designed for different use. If you let us know what you try to use for, our engineers may give you some suggestion. And if the exist stock cannot meet your requirement, we can design & make a special lens for you.

Please let me know if you have any inquiries in optics.

Sorry, I am a fresh and can you let me know how can we be a commercial sellers? Thanks in advance.

We are a manufacturer for optics. We have capacity for design & make lenses. At normally, there is no minimum order quantity reuqired. That is to say, we accept orders for even 1piece!

Please check if there are some lenses can meet your requirement.
