Which 18650 flashlight will be good for these...?

Hi all!

I actually originally joined because I wanted to learn more about 18650 batteries to keep my USB devices juiced up when I am on the go, but over time I figured “What else can I use my 18650s for?” and just thought that perhaps I should get a flashlight

I don’t have huge requirements though, but I hope to find one that fulfils all of these:

1) it has its own voltage regulation, so it knows when to cut off the light when the cell falls below 3V (I will be using unprotected cells)
2) it is to be inexpensive, but not cheap
3) I really don’t care too much about the lumens, since all we have right now are the old fashioned incandescent flashlights, anything will be a huge boon!
4) Oh yes, most importantly, it has user serviceable/replaceable parts. I don’t want to have to chuck the whole thing just because the bulb or some obscure chip or capacitor on it died!
5) And of course, single cell configuration. Don’t want explosions.

Thanks for any recommendations

Your post made me think of this, i know its not in your criteria, but i think its super awesomeness of features may make it worthwhile

LOL. Actually I kind of like that flashlight also, but one thing that bothered me about that lamp is that it doesn’t have a low voltage cutoff when you are using USB output. That’s really quite a huge downer (!)

that what the little lights are for, but it may be worth e-mailing them to suggest such a feature

I will  It is also very budget priced!
