The stainless steel C3 looks good to me - takes 14500 OK, and is 93mm long.
The Mini-01 looks OK too - that came in the clamshell pack, without any dings or scratches, with a CR123. Not bad for $9, just a little tough to operate one handed with the threads. Can’t get a Trustfire flame 16340 in there, but no biggie. Might end up in the car as an emergency light -only good use for a strobe, for me
I noticed the other day when trying to track something on HK Post, that they have draconian regulations concerning lithium batteries - like USPS. You must have been very unlucky, because I would imagine virtually all dealers ignore such rules. You could ask them to post it again without the battery, I suppose.
Same crap just happend to me too. This guy is a joke. I swear he looked around at the other listings and realized how much cheaper he was selling it for and decided to cancel all the orders.
I bought 2 Yezl protected 16340’s to use in the Mini-01. They are about 3-4mm longer than a primary or LifeP04, so its a bit harder to screw the light back together because of the tension on the spring, but they fit. Width isn’t a problem. The Yezl cells are a little wider than a primary/LifeP04, but still fit fine.
I can post an ebay link if that’s ok on this forum?
Here’s a couple of outdoor beamshots. They aren’t great, and only close range, but you can get the idea of the flood by comparing the light on the fence panels in each shot.
