This is where i got mine http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270983599351?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&\_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
It came in a plastic clam shell type package with the battery and light. No paperwork or any card insert identifying the light, just a clear plastic package.
The light was perfect though with no blemishes, just needed the threads cleaning and greasing.
I’ve ordered from DX in the past with a track record of an average of 10 shipment days to doorstep. Waiting for supplier and getting the package out the door from DX was another issue
I’ve recently ordered off of Ebay from a few suppliers and packages usually ship within a day or so. Now how long before they are received is another story. Currently waiting on 4 items to arrive.
Really looking forward to receiving this little guy. Having so much light power in such a small form factor is a great feeling.
Ill have to get saving and get another Solarforce or two It’s nice not having to wait 3-4 weeks for a new light.
But i want a second Mini-01 first
mine only draws 1.08 Amps on high , and 0.24 Amps on low , on a freshly new charged Trustfire Flame 16340 …and I’ve also connected a new Hi-Max 18650, 2600 mAh to the mini-01 , and the same thing , it draws around 1 - 1.05 Amps on high …
I can’t complain because it’s a lot of light for this little thingie … but it would have been nice to have a tiny monster, with double the output…
So , the question is…only mine draws ~ 1 Amp on high ?
It’s very easy , set the DMM like in the picture, hold the head of the flashlight , put the 16340 (RCR123A - CR123A) in , connect the black lead to the flat end of the battery (-) , and slide the red lead between the body and the battery to touch the outer ring of the flashlights circuit board, and that’s it , the DMM should show you how much Amps does you’re flashlight draw…
