What you got today

Nice to see the low is fairly low and medium useful for a battery saving high.

I’m doing a run off between the S-Mini (high 360lm)& the e1320 5 mode on mode 4 (about 350lm) using the same kind of batt (cgr18650) fully charged. neck & neck @ 45 minute at this point. The winner shall receive a gold medal. LOL BTW, they are holding at 113 f (45c) so no heat issues.

The items are laid out impossibly parallel… :open_mouth:

No way!!! My Gosh… the time it must have taken! Muchos Respectos!

I got a package from UPS (1 week from the US to Australia!) which was 74lbs. A plastic wrapped gloss black cube!

The Queen has arrived, along with the Rook.

I’m working on the whole chess set now.

Please share your initial impressions. Or a full review…

Got the 3 mode Sipik SK68 clone from Verosale and it’s great! Can’t wait for it to get dark and test outside.

Nice! What speakers and sub are they?
I’ve a pair of ATC monitors. Hifi is my other addiction.

Hard plastic battery case bought to hold the growing collection of batteries I have recently and relentlessly accumulated in the past few weeks.
Trustfire X100 +batteries/charger which I just had to have. This is by far my most expensive purchase but since I really needed some 26650 cells it made allot of sense.

This also finally came in from way back when it was talked about on here. Great light and it came with both the 4aa and 26650-18650 adapter.

I got an increase in child support payment from PA Domestics. Went from 2 kids to only 1 and the payment went up a little. WTF???

Hifi can be budget, can be non-budget :frowning: Slowly working my way through to the budget beaters of the audiophile end.
The white ones are LSK M4 - budget kit speakers for a balanced performance from a small budget ($99 each, $200 a pair at the time) Not too bad at all, but low and high extensions are rolled off to say the least, but present in a very tonally balanced and are easy to listen to.
Bamboo built one stained dark cherry is the Ascend Acoustics Sierra-1, Extremely clear with huge soundstage, and very good low end extension (very good candidate for a 2.0 setup). Slight midbass depression IMO, but reviewers described it as midbass transparency… but other than that an AWESOME set of speakers. cost me 25% more becasue if shipping to australia, but still worth it.
And the sub was just received (still in plastic wrap), Rythmik F12SE, servo sub, with the feedback control to improve accuracy and speed. Regardless, a small 12” cube with better extension (and quantity) than an existing 12” isobaric box thats twice as big! Its the quality of the bass is phenomenal, and the onboard parametric equaliser is what sets it apart from most plate amp subs.
ATC loudspeakers look very very fancy!

Sorry for the off-topic nature of this post, I shall bring it back slightly with a new light source in my room! With integrated blue led glow becasue neon isnt cool enough, however I prefer the warm tint at night though…. (oh and that LED light was an old headlamp that I made, now re-used as a under-bed light, now illuminating the driver so I can see the cone movements through the grille. Brightness adjustable from dimmer than tritium to some 200 or so lumens, enough to get hot)

What are you impressions on the throw and flood of this sexy thang? Could you post a review of it?

@ okwchin

Nice setup. I knew i’d seen that sub somewhere before, the drive unit look familiar. I’ve heard great things about the Rhythmik gear.
I had a pair of ATC scm19’s, then scm50asl’s, and now some more industrial PA-65’s.

Sorry for going off topic also.
Here’s a funny light/electrical tester. Its a Fluke LVD1

Here’s a beamshot of mine. Check out the beautiful beam

Cheers
Matt

Edit: Love the clock by the way

Me too!

I received it today. Throw is actually not too bad. Lens is very curvy (more than my other XML zoomies), so, if my imaginations i scorrect, less light escapes the lens when totally focused.
I have one brick church tower 360m from my house, and it can lit it very dimly. Average C8 Q5 throws further, but of course beam is much tighter. Its interesting light, and it seems that it isnt very mildly driven like some zoomies.

PS: I think it would be really interesting to mod it with XPG R5, I cant wait to do it (I bought 2 of these just for that purpose, to mod one with r5) Even with R2, if you want very good thrower and dont mide weak spill. This lens is very interesting, its glass as I can see and very curved). It looks 2 times more curved than lens of SMall Sun C10, maybe more than 2 times!!

Sorry to be offtopic, I received 3 XML zoomies yesterday, read about it here (some pics included too) Cant decide upon which cheap 18650 XML zoomie to buy

Roche F22, with extension tube.

Looks nice
I’d be interested to know how much current it pulls if you do a test. Specs say 3A.

Cheers
