Placed an order for some batteries on Jan 18. They "Shipped" on the 26th. Origin/post/dispatch/Portee has not changed since Jan 29

Glad I dont have a pressing need at the moment. One heck of a price though

before xmas. lol

seriously though its not all dx fault. the hong kong PO collapsed and mail got delayed/ lost. Check out any big hong kong ebay seller they all get negative feedback in dec/ january/feb due to postal delays.

my issues with dx are about false advertising, wrong photo's, wrong/ broken products/ poor customer service no quality control etc...................

I'm relieved. At least you think it's this year. LOL

Yes, we must think positively :P

Agreed!

I think it will get there in 3-4 weeks. Wink

woohoo!! They partially shipped an order I made on Jan 27th! And with a tracking number. I hope the other two thirds of the order will also get a tracking number... (It deserves one on its own - more than 15$. The partial shipment is for about 6$ and got a tracking number. Strange.)

I placed an order last sunday and today is packaging!

It's because they like you.

They must. I placed my order Jan 19th and I still have no shipping notice. My I can convince Fran82 to place my orders. LOL

Most of my around 30 order with this people went reasonably fast no problems , one or two item each usually no popular stuff...in average 20 days after the order i got it ...

For what I dislike them intensely is for that 'in stock' scam were you order something and two or three weeks later notice the lack of the good...the new arrivals is plenty of those 'deals' beside the countless skus marked available when for many months are not...

My order list has four items since December only one shipped three 'order received', one the XR-E R2 replacement because the 'defective...' claim I made some days ago.

As appear they don't have the Uniquefire G10 , nobody got it, in the past when bought my first SSC P7 in a similar situation I fix it choosing another flashlight a bit dearer but today my wish list there is empty...also getting the PP refund is not nice since it stay in a bank/CC's limbo and nobody here know how to get it...

DX is the worst of all. Just cancelled my order and they sent me an email stating your refund is successful - your refund has been sent to your payment account.

That's BS ain't it. My paypal account is still sitting at 0.

PayPal may have already refunded it to your credit card.

That's how it worked for me, anyway.

I use bank acc, cc as secondary option. But it should show on your paypal statement/balance.

Yes, it shows as "refunded".

That's why i dislike shopping with DX. I just love the way how MF handles it. Usually the goods are dispatched the next day or even the same day. I got spoiled!

DX shipped something ... ill have to go see what it was ....

Dx has improved. Two orders posted 15/2 and 16/2. Both arrived today!

However they split my order and have not sent my xm-l. Funny how they can send junky stuff quickly and good stuff slowly.

Ughh, sorry to hear that. I imagine you ordered more than one thing with that order? If so, they very frequently split orders. I imagine that they do so in a futile attempt to placate the customer who gets more an more irritated by the day when they don't ship anything after weeks and weeks of waiting. So invariably they ship some cheap widget you ordered for $1.25 with your registered airmail order, and then proceed to send $80.00 worth of valuable flashlight equipment in two separate un-registered packages... Hence my dire warnings in the description. If they were to send Spam and shill posts, I would without doubt mark them as "Avoid", but that's the only thing they don't do wrong.

Yeah, they tend to split orders, often in a way that makes little sense but that's part of their business model, which relies heavily on "just in time" inventory strategies. Sometimes, when all the stars are aligned just right, they can be amazingly quick if you take into account that there are always multiple parties involved (suppliers, inventory & warehouse, postal processing, customs, etc.). I think my personal record is a little over a week, door-to-door from HK to the continental US.

Unfortunately, that's pretty much the exception and not the rule. Sigh.
