Who's interested in 90,000 lux @ 1m?

Between $100 and $120

this is led? or ?

Yes XML U2

I guess it’s 3*18650, judging by design? Serial or parallel?

What about UI ? Is that a magnetic control ring I see or is it ordinary clickie in the end?

What will the settings be like? Personally I'd prefer something like:

Moon low

5%

15%

45%

75%

90%

100%

I know thats a lot of modes but in these high powered flashlights I often find that 3 or 4 modes are too little when using it for long periods of time.

When will it be available?

Features and Specification, see here:

Spec says 700 meters? With a single XM-L U2? Where? In outer space?

Aha… there’s the TN31 imitation…

What is the head diameter?

skytop, a triple XM-L wouldn’t throw further, actually it probably would throw less.

You got my attention!

Looks at the specs for TN31 specs:

- LED: Cree XM-L U2 LED with a lifespan of 20+years of run time *

- Max 1147 lumen output using 3 * 18650 batteries *

- Level 1: 0.5 lm. 2000 hours; Level 2: 21 lm. 140 hours; Level 3: 146 lm. 22 hours; Level 4: 366 lm. 9 hours;
Level 5: 620 lm. 5 hours; Level 6: 1147 lm. 2 hours; Standby: 65 uA; Strobe: 1147 lm. 4 hours.

- Working voltage: 4V to 13V *

- Max runtime: 2000 hours *

- Max beam distance: 700 meters *

- Peak beam intensity: 75000cd *

- Impact resistant: 1.2 meters *

The ones I marked * are spec’ed to be exactly the same. This is definitely a flashlight to watch for.

YESsss! nice light and $100 cheaper than the thrunite.I want to see beamshots/reviews first, hopefully not hype.

Recently went on a night hike with kramer5150 with this light and the TN31. The TN31 achieved 115k lux while my prototype achieved 77k lux at the lower drive current. Hoping to break 80k and closer to 90k at the high drive current. Throwing them up on the trees at 100+ meters it was hard to tell the difference, only when side by side.

I might pick one up for modding purposes, if the build quality is good enough I have a few designs you might be interested in.

Been meaning to lathe my own out for a while, but if I could find an actual producer to make enough to go around that would be even better.

Got any specs on the type of aluminum and lens used?

Also, in the name of all that is good, slap a low profile SS bezel on there, it would cost what, an extra couple dollars?

I think my HD 2010 lasted a week before the bezel was chewed into a foy type bezel by concrete.

Interested Jason… Nice to see this coming full circle.

That prototype was a nice, well made light for sure. I like the price target, definitely under-cutting the TM31. Double the lux of XML lights like the HD2010, and STLV2. I think the less you can sell it for the more CPF and BLFers will rave about it.

The 3.4A Stanley fatmax, and Defiant spotlights I brought that night did about 75-78K, and they were about $80-90 builds. So youre light here takes it up a notch.

interested !!

I wished for this the second I asw the TN31. Now that someone made it I kinda feel guilty…. I’m sure the guilt will leave once I have the funds to buy one

This looks very cool and the price sounds great!!! This is what we all have been waiting for!!!

Nice work  I’m interested, will it be ready before or after Christmas ?
