Hi there. I am sorts new to this so I’m gonna try to post beamshots of the above flashlights. The last time I tried posting some pictures it didn’t exactly turn out right, so here goes….
I know it’s not much but I just wanted to try and see if I could do it. Both lights were on maximum. Ran them for about a minute before taking the shot. I just got the Xeno yesterday and couldn’t wait to try it out against the Balder. I’ll try to find a better (more open) place to do my “beamshot shots”. Believe me, where I live it’s hard to find an area that’s not got a lot of light polution.
It’s a XMLT6 neutral white. The local distributor for Xeno has them in U2(CW), T6 neutral and T4 warm white. And yes, they’re running off freshly-charged 14500’s. Btw, the Balder got really hot after about 90 secs. Not so the Xeno
I like ’em both. The Balder for its sheer small-ness and unusual design and the Xeno because it’s so well-made/nice colour etc. Kind of hard to choose which is “better” since better is quite subjective. Btw, my HD-1 is on it’s way back to Balder for them to replace the head. I’ll post more info on this on another thread.
Bottom line…. get both :bigsmile: You won’t regret it.
