Some chinese fixed knives have quality like SRM/Enlan... ???

The sheat shouldn’t keep you back from buying that awesome Y-start knife.
There is nothing wrong with the sheat (it works well, it even has a drain hole).
It’s only not as nice looking as the knife itself (which is excellent).

Thanks for the update... paypal trigger ready. ;-)

Argh, the nice 30% off time is over.... it was $26.60 now back to $38.

Hej!

How much do a moras cost in Sweden? Are they much cheaper than buying them in America?

Try to persuade the seller to extend the discount time. At that price I would buy more of them too.

I think 26$ is a good price for that knife, aus8a is a good steel and it’s good looking, perhaps for me too small (it has the size of many of my folder knives). 38$ is a little too expensive perhaps.

How many folders do you have with 4.44” (113 mm) blade?

I’m talking about full length: 8.97” (228 mm).
Many of my folders have 22 cm. three that i can think now even 24 cm. Perhaps the fixed knife has a bit more blade and a bit less handle then but full length is very similar to some of my folders.
For a fixed i like 18-20 cm blade better but the ystart is a beautiful piece and for 26$… can be interesting.

I see. Do you prefer large folders because you have large hands or because of the additional blade length?

Well, i don’t think that i have large hands but it’s true that almost all chinese budget knives (enlan EL, ganzo etc) have a bit little handle for me (by the way fake chinese knives have bigger handles). I like blades with good size. For a blade folder between 9.5 cm and 11.5 cm i think it’s a good size for standard big folder (Espada XL, rajah II etc are another world).

I feel the same way. The SRM /Enlan line-up has a huge gap between the small 700s/Ms and the (now extinct)-900s / most Ls. The L03-2 and L02 being two of the few exceptions. The smalls are too small for my hands for a full grip and the 900/Ls are too large to EDC. I demand more 18cm knives... and I want them now. ;-)

An 800 series, ideal size for my hand too…but a disaster for my wallet.
If only Enlan had made the SRM 710 clone 1 cm longer…and without musical notes engraving.

A Mora 2000 which is a pretty nice knife is around $23 here.

Tekut LK5070. 15 bucks on DX. Very nice, in fact the internals are very clean unlike Enlans. Unfortunately if you dislike ceramics then no-go.
It’s actually made by Nextorch industries.

For that one, yes.
No free shipping available to here, LOL.

Ask to the seller if he could send it to you with China Post Airmail instead than with EMS, you live within europe like me.
Ask also if you could pay with paypal (by sending to you a paypal invoice (“outside” aliexpress)) with free shipping with China Post.

I’m sorry, ATS-34 is a Japanese Steel that is expensive to get exported from Japan.

The chance that this knife is real ATS-34 is ZERO.
