Zero Profit sale on Aliexpress.

can do the blf.com.

but sorry, for custom mode,L/M/H, needs 100pcs.

or it costs really high for only one.

and i'm pretty sure factory is not willing to do this.

really sorry.

Don't worry about it. Would it be possible to get a stock Mini 01 that says BLF on it?

will answer you on Monday after checking with them. stainless is different with aluminum.

ok,have to take shower and go to bed,

you guys have a nice day,

Ok, thanks for doing this for me. :D

scaru. How do you get boxes in boxes?

You mean quote multiple posts with in each other? You just press the quote button in the bottom right corner of the post.

See. :D

Ok. Thats all good, but I have seen it with different posts in the one reply. Apologies for taking this of topic.

Like this?

If so, just first click quote and then open in new tab of one of the posts you want to quote and then do the same for the other. You then take the text in one of the messages and cut and paste it into another.

In the laser world, most folks would want to thermal paste some small pieces of copper heatsink to some of the ICs….even copper coins would do.

Why don’t you guys search for that power resistor mod to the original driver? Fast and pretty easy, and it works. You can have 9-10A to the SST-90.

The problem is not the driver, it is the heatsinking. As I said in the other thread the it went down to low when the LED reached 200 degrees. This is already to hot.

It looks good to me….

LEDs don’t really go way down in output due to heat…yes there is some effect to the output but not exactly visible by the eyes.

I mean i have gunned triple XM-Ls at like 6A constant in the Sky Ray 3800 for about 30s. That is 18 amps bro, no joke and i was using 12V SLAs constantly charged to maintain the voltage (which affects current).

My TF X100 is about the size of the TF X6, same weight and same head mass etc. That’s about 3.6A at the tail. Granted it is way more efficient @ 3300L OTF, but heat wise shouldn’t be so far off. I could gun it for 20 mins, easy.

Wanna re-apply the thermal compound? There seems to be no anodisation in the thermal path to the external fins and 6061 mass to impede.

Keep in mind it took about 2 minutes to get to 200 and was still rising. Yet the fins were just barely warm. With out the thermal throttling I could probably cook on the flashlight.

Then there is something wrong somewhere. I have been playing with hot stuff like my SR3800 with DRY turbo driver and my 4 X DRYs with ice and dry ice and drivers till i got sick of the inefficiency. LOL! The heat should get out to the fins pretty fast, even though it is just aluminum. The same goes to the higher powered lasers as well……them diodes are much more sensitive to heat.

Actually there are 2 screws there. This should be a good enough design. You could check if that white MCPCB is getting way hotter than that immediate grey coloured ring of aluminum just beside the LED.

Thaicpf, good work from bro dong, as usual. (thermal measurements in there) If your temperature just rises a wee bit more than the stock X6, something is wrong.

Actually if you ask me, the X6 is like 30% more macho with more 6061 mass and surface area in the head portion than the X100. But alas no more space for another big shelf queen. (buying knives now)

Hmm... So far I have not tried to remove the insulating disk around the LED but I probably should. I guess I will give that a try later today.

TrustFire 3T6

Can this really be a real one or is it a cheaper knock off? And how can you tell if it is real or not?
I’m all new to this forum so the answer might be pretty obvious.
Based on other threads this is basically for free. From what I recall they cost a lot more than this.

/Joa

Hi Joa, to prevent you from making the same mistake I did can you just answer some questions?
Are you interested in flashlights for throw? flood? brightness? Do you have an actual use for them? I personally don’t.
Depending on your answer I can help recommend a flashlight to you, but this trustfire 3T6 is kind of outdated. It’s not actually 3800 lumens, but rather closer to 1500 lumens.

Hi Joa,

Welcome to BLF.It's really a best forum.

My name is Rey,the shop owner. all are 100% original TF.

It's a newly opened one,so don't feel surprised about the low promotion price.

Take the chance, it will recovery by end of Sept.

Now we're pushing a Group Buy of MINI-01(no strobe one)

You may like it? See this thread,

Regards

Rey

absolutely right. If you're not collecting flashlights,

you'd better get to know what will it be used for before you buy it.
