Yezl Z1X CREE XM-L T6 $29.99

It used to bother me quite a bit also but after a while and since there's really nothing I can do about it anyway, I just try and forget about it. And when it finally shows up in the mail (usually after several weeksFrown) it feels like I got an early christmas or birthday present.Smile

Once I get a couple in to start goofing around with, the wait on the rest won't seem so bad. Of all the hobbies I could have picked - flashlights on a slow boat from Hong Kong. I need another hobby to occupy me in the meantime. LOL

Another hobby? Knives! :D

I already have a couple. I was thinking more like guns. LOL

+postage does seem a bit much, but what a cool light! I wonder how much shipping is to the US? Stop talking about this thing guys... Im starting to want one!

Now that's an expensive hobby. I would know because I had over 20 guns and rifles in Alaska and I was always broke. Buying bullets for target practice got pretty expensive but shooting guns was pure fun for me. Except when doing it during the winter of course.Laughing

Order placed

You guys are making me jealous now.

It was less than $5. So, total was $34 and some change. C'mon....get one. You know you want one....and somewhere deep down you know you actually need one! Your little inner "flashpilot" is clenched by fits of despair, knowing that out there...somewhere...is a Yezl Z1 - a light that will complete you, and satiate the dark inner desires and silence the wicked whisperings of your soul...

AAAARRRRRWOOOOOOO!!!!

Whoa..not sure what that was all about...time to quit reading so much before bed!

You read me like a cheap novel so I wont even try to hide my sickening desires for flashlights. Besides, its public knowledge. Im just worried about what my girlfriend would say if she finds yet another new flashlight under my pillow. Surprised

My friend, you have two choices:

1.) Don't say it's a new flashlight: It's one you've always had. After the first dozen, they all start to look the same (says my wife).

2.) Tell her you recently lost a tooth

Please let us know what you think of it. I'm sorely tempted at this point but really want to hear from some one who has one

love the modes on this and this brand seems to "listen" to what people want, can anyone post any experiance with the quality of previous yezl lights.

look at the brass on the bottom of the pill , and they even show a pic of how to heat water in a sink with a flashlight , AMAZING ! i am guessing 20minutes and its time to wash your face

LOL

PLEASE post some beam shots and other pics , also how fast it takes to warm up on high ? outside of water

Of course I will! I think it is a very promising flashlight if specs are real.

from a TR-801, a T6 on a 16mm star and the KD 8xAMC7135 driver. Perfect!

If the reviews are good--I'm in for at least 1.

I'll tell you now, that I recieved my Z1 r5 a couple weeks ago and am NOT impressed. The stainless bezel has a failure of one thread to hold it on, which ended up being 'stripped' so it just spins and falls off. The light does NOT tailstand as advertised (even in the videos). Not that I care, but the tailcap does not even illuminate as advertised. The Yezl logo on the light looks cheap like it will flake off, and I dont dare to see if the finish is HAIII as they show in the video. I was disappointed with mine, but I hope that other experiences are different.

The only nice thing is the compact size, and the decently driven R5, so for the size, its a decent pocket rocket. This xm-l version will hopefully be even more so.

Sorry to hear that and thanks for the heads up mizjif. Hopefully they are sending out better made ones. I'll definitely be waiting for the reviews before first I buy one.

Now that's really a disappointment. As I sayed above: Take a TR-801 and upgrade to XM-L, it's pretty much the same...

I don't agree entirely , for me is too big also ... as for the finish maybe i'm spoiled with the Hugsbys and the Romisens but I have a 'police' one with better anodized... is a very good flashlight but look better in the pics than in hand...I 'gifted' mine...
