I have been EDCing the Xeno E03 NW for nearly a year, and also a iTP A1……to my keys. Yeah believe it’s a little floodier than the typical 55mm head diameter triple XM-Ls.
It’s a XM-L + 14500 (ie 14mm cells, how big can it get) + Orange peel. Doesn’t take much imagination to guess that it is a flooder.
Of course i am leaving out those Zebralights/UF-H series stuff which are pure flooders via unreflectored emitters.
Perhaps a wise choice i know, but the voices, they made me doit.I couldnt resist,i couldnt help myself and bought the blackshadow darth also, then some King Kongs, and way,way tomuch more.I feel better now and the voices have gone far away.
My name is Don and ive been a flashlight aholic for ,well for,i need help
UNTIL TOMORROW J)
Now 67$ on cnqualitygoods….can’t resist…
But I am still confused because of the King Kong battery’s they are not protected and this flashlight will choke them out till they are dead, any advice for this issue.
who actually has this light? there does not seem to be many owners of this light? is this the floodiest non modded light out there thats under $150. im looking for a flood monster, but i already have a tk70 and srking. will this be a big improvement or not so much.
This light kicks out around 3300-3500 lumens OTF, so it’s a monster output light. A great mix of flood with some throw, it’s a serious area light. Doesn’t get too hot. It compares in output to my Spark SP6 however that light throws MUCH further. For the money, fantastic. Humbles the DRY, TJ12 and TM11.
Can’t really fault it actually, except it’s well short of the boasted 5000 lumens.
No, not my floodiest. The Electrolumens big bruiser is floodier, but obviously not as bright.
I have a custom mag by Vestureofblood with 5 XMLs, which is very floody and about equal to the Skyray- is a custom however.
The DRY is floddy however doesn’t handle the heat well, so you can only use it full belt for 5 mins. The Skyray does it well. I’ve run it for 20 mins on hight without major issues.
Will Not work with c cells good because it doesn’t work with 2 18650 either. With driver swap could it work but c cells have to low capacity on the required current.
But I will check what current flows and if it physically fits in when I get 4 new c cells next week or so.
This thing is bright, and nice. I love my 3Xml but this thing is my new number one. I blinded almost myself when pointing at a peace of paper… Not recommend for reading in night;)
And I don’t run this baby on the max just with 3x18650 not fully loaded at <4A tail cap current.
Get this its super!
I have this and the TK70. It not only has more lumens but is WAY more floodier! It makes the TK70 look like a pure thrower in comparison. Buy it. You won’t regret it.
