Anyone know anything about this seller??

Ordered a sipik sk68 from this seller on august 7th, still hasn’t arrived so don’t think it’s going to. :frowning:
Has anyone else had anything from this seller and had a similar experience???

Also if someone could give me a good link to a seller of a sipik sk68 that i can trust i would really appriciate it :slight_smile:

This one has a good rating. Do an ebay search on Cree Q5 Zoom or a few variations and you will get dozens of other sellers. Find the mix of cheapest/best rated and pull the trigger. The going price for these is anywhere from $4.00 to $8.00, brand printed on the side is irrelevant. Enjoy the light! I just picked up an UltraOK off the AU site for $4.89 and it is identical to the last two I've purchased.

so basically iv just been unlucky and its probably got lost in transit??

well its been 40 days since i placed the order now so i think ill start a dispute to get another sent out now, been way too long for my liking :frowning:
i know its not a lot of money but its the principal of the matter that bothers me.

40 days is a little much, but I don’t even start to wonder til more than 30 days on stuff from China.

im going to give it 2 more days then its time for an ebay dispute i think, they are pretty good with sorting things out so im confident of finally getting this light :slight_smile:

Have you contacted the seller? Buy andsell a bit on Ebay myself and every problem resolved

just contacted the seeler this morning saying id wait a day or two then open a dispute on ebay… this is the reply i got……

At the end of the day, you’re their customer. If you’re unsatisfied then open up a dispute. You have no obligation to the seller and should not feel obliged to keep their rating at whatever it is currently.

this is what i dont like about ebay… as the seller now has one over me as if i open a dispute ill just get bad feedback and have my 100% re cord spoiled. i think this aspect of the site needs looking at.

Plus the seller says they will send another out but lets say they just dont…… i wait 35 days then he has managed to get away with my money and avoid a dispute as it will have passed the original 45 day limit to open one…

I’m currently in the same situation, waiting on a second light, first showed as leaving Singapore then vanished without a trace. Second showed leaving for overseas on Friday… The tracking seems to stop at that point. Hopefully it’ll arrive this week, I’m not sure what my feedback will be yet, but the have at least been communicative. We’ll see.

Its exactly how i explain it on ebay though isnt it…. i bet its a small minority that actually rate how they think the transaction went honestly rather than just giving good feedback so that you get good feedback in response……
So basically we cant trust feedback at all i think and something needs to be done about it……. im pretty sure im right on how most people use the feedback feature on ebay.

I made over a hundred purchases on ebay but with this cat & mouse game playing I have made just one purchase there in about 5 years & that was from a recommendation made on BLF about some cgr18650ea batts that went very well. Without a recommend from BLF I won’t go near the place. The whole thing just ‘smells’! I met two ebay sellers (one lives across the street) in person & they were conniving crooks with a smile. I had one guy sell some stuff for me (auction)& all of a sudden he started taking ‘best offer’ from people & expecting me to take his word on what the best offer was. When I stated this was unacceptable he accused me of giving him a fake Hank aaron signed ball which had a cert from HSN. he said it messed his rating up with ebay & he was now going to withhold payment on 3 items totaling about $200. I said fine, I’ll come take it out of your ass (he lived 3 mi from me). Come to find out he had been planning to move up north & when I went to get my piece of hide his neighbor told me he had moved. I forgot the name of his store but I figure he changed it more then once anyway. This guy laid it on thick how Christian he was, man of his word blah, blah, blah. BTW, his neighbor said he left in the middle of the night! So, whenever I see/hear the ebay word I see this guys two mouthed face. I wanted to move his nose to the middle of his forehead! I repented. The guy had a 72 Monte Carlo that I was going to give him a real cheap price to restore. Well, when he left, he left the car in the garage & his neighbor said he would for sure be back for it & I asked the neighbor to tell him that I would find him someday. The neighbor said he would be glad to tell him. I’m over it now, but I bet he is still looking over his shoulder (that’s how crooks live HeHe). Sorry for the rant but had to let it out. That felt good.

Judging from his neutral & bad feedbacks looks like alot of them over sell items they don’t have in stock.

They did some time ago: there’s no such thing as “bad feedback” for buyers.

Sellers can leave a positive - or nothing at all - making “buyer” feedback, uhhh… basically irrelevant. Anyways, I think you’ve got a maximum of 45 days to open a PP dispute, so your time is short.

adyscarborough - what the seller meant, is that dispute is not welcome and not that he will leave you neg feedback, no way, they cant do so, if they do, it might cause them even more trouble from Ebay than just claim regarding item not received :wink:
Ive never received negative feedback on Ebay! Neither this way nor another.

You paid your money, you didnt receive it, open up Ebay case and get your money back, dont accept re-shipped item, it might take too long and you might forget about it in the end and your Ebay case might automatically close if you forget to pay attention to it before you receive resent item ;)!
