I have just fallen in love Shadow JM26

Thanks Moses, got my head in the clouds today, wicked sinus infection.I agree the newer designs are getting better and also side switch is sweet along with a hidden strobe,so no needless cycling modes to get through flashy crap.

Driven at 2.5A and were you talking about this?

Tell us when it is released!

I really like this design, and its side switch.

Really nice looking lights

Could this be competition for the HD2010 ?
Hhhmmmm………………we’ll have to wait and see.

Sweet !

Please tell me/us something about the flashlight on the left.

I think I should start looking for a charger capable of charging 26650’s.

4.5A, 1500 lumens so the heat is manageable. I haven’t done much heat testing but I’m loving the build quality, the compactness and it’s flippin’ bright

Will you sell this beauty in your shop ?

Yes it will be in stock very shortly after a few things are smoothed out. I’m going to try to nudge Shadow to make us a 3.0A version of the JM26. Or higher?

Jake, does the S-L3 put out a wall of light? Is it possible to reserve one?

Is the single emitter one, the one your pushing for 90k lux?
I’m looking forward to seeing which you get in stock first Jake.

I think the 90k lux one is the K40.
But I’m interested in the triple emitter one. It looks like it might have some nice throw along with nice brightness. But I do think that 1500 lumens is a bit on the low side for it, but I guess it wouldn’t make that much of a difference from 1500 to 2300 (king).

I just know that I want to get a triple emitter thrower, so big headed triple emitter lights really interest me. Something like the TK70, except not as expensive as the tk70.

Sorry to go on a tangent, do you have any plans for the Shadow TC750X?

As much as I’d love to throw 2.0 or 2.5A at the triple, it heats up to 85F on the outside body within 20 seconds. Even at 1.5A each, 4.5A total. For this small package anything higher and you’re going to burn your hands imo.

The SL3 Triple actually throws a bit better than the 750x using visual comparison. The hotspot is not bad on the triple. Definitely not as floody as something like the Dry. It has some throw to it.

The JM26 I just got word that I will be stocking a 3.0A version of the JM26. Throw is good but definitely not K40 level. Comparing against the K40, the K40 rightfully spanks it. But the throw is still very good maybe 50,000+ lux @1m. I’ll have to test this later.

For those who are curious these lights will have a sleeve for 18650s but your runtime will be shorter obviously. Also a magnet for the flat top 26650s that are out there included as well

Yep, I know that the heat is crazy. I can’t hold my king for more than 8 minutes on high before it really burns my skin.

But those 8 minutes makes it worth it right?

Is there a price on the SL3 yet?
And will the modes be 100% - 30% - 5% and double press for strobe like the JM26?

Cheers
Matt

Most HD2010s here are about 3A-3.5A. Would be interesting to see how it fares against it, HD2010 being so far hard to beat for price/performance...

Can you measure the lux of the triple xm-l one?

Can’t the triple get a turbo mode? 1.5a per emitter is lame, due to effecientcy a triple at 1.5 each should produce less heat than a single at 4.5a, several reports of lights pulling 4+ no worries in even smaller hosts, check Foys long lived 980L out or many HD2010s
