EXPERIENCES WITH LIGHTMALLS?

I have had a good experience with lightmalls as well. They are definitely lifting their game.
I got an Ultrafire C8 U2 from them, and that was awesome. Perfect machining, and the driver pulled 3 amps.

It is now my best flashlight and I am looking for another light to buy off them, for me to review.

I saw this the other day at lightmalls and I have to admit this is a very tempting offer, great price, never seen cheaper this flashlight + free worldwide shipping, it even sounds a bit unreal!!!
What do you think?

My first and only experience with them has been horrid. I tried to purchase a Sky Ray King from them. Spend over two hours trying to get their web site to accept the order. A friend finally hacked the amateurish source code to the web page and managed to get the order in.

A month later they sent an email saying that customs in China had sent it back to them and that they are re-sending it via Singapore. I’d say, just avoid the place.

You actually hacked the site to accept orders that the site normally wouldn't, then it got stuck at customs and returned, and lightmalls had the courtesy to notify you and attempt to reship from different location... and it's horrid?

I just don't see what lightmalls did wrong there.

I've had multiple items from them, all received in a week, all good quality (in fact, their SF L2 & SR King are the top of my collection).

Anyone ever experience this before? since the end of july, we are now at the end of september, my “flawless” Ultrafire hd2010 has been stuck as far as shipping goes. Here’s what I get when I track it at usps.com

How much longer can it be?? AT what point should something be done by lightmalls?? This is worse than dx

He did not truly "hack" the site. He just used the debugging tool to make it accept his order. I had tried to place an order there too and it wouldn't let me. It's just a glitchy suckish website imo.

No, their buggy web site was not letting the order go through without selecting a shipping method. No where did their order screen say that you needed to select a shipping method. The place order button was just grey’d out. I’ve seen better code written by a 6 year old.

After finally figuring out why the place order button was not enabled, we used an html debugging tool to edit the html code to select a shipping method. All editing was done to the local copy of the web page, nothing was done to their web site.

Pulsar, in case you don't understand what he means press f12, he used that pop up to make his order go through.

OK. I still don't understand it though, too deep for me :) but I get it's done only on the client side.

Actually, it’s quite simple. Basically, when you visit a web page, the web site sends a program to your computer. That program is (usually) written in the HTML language. Your web browser then runs the HTML program to do what the web site says (draw a form, display an image, etc).

Most browsers have a way to look at and modify that HTML program that the web site sent to your computer. If that HTML program is poorly written, you get pissed off customers. If the pissed off customer is compu-savvy they might just look at the HTML code and patch what is causing the problem. Less savvy customers just take their business elsewhere…

Deceptive politics at work again… :expressionless:
I found couple of interesting products with very good price so I looked a little bit more around the website,
found this:

OK, that is what I want, free delivery, that was the first condition
I also found this pic:

great, so they accept payment via credit card, not just through paypal. Second condition = OK.

At least I got that impression… But when I registered I found out that is just a deceptive politics of theirs.
First of all, All shipping is NOT free Only if you spend about 50 or more $ free shipping option becomes available, for
everything less than that you have an option of more expensive and less expensive shipping but there is no free shipping…
Further, they accept ONLY paypal payment, if I know all that I certainly would not register…

Btw, this is how (non deceptive) “We accept only paypal payment” sign looks like:

I up to this point have had a similar problem, after reading chriszhous review of the Ulatrafire C8 LU2 I decided to order l3 of the uprated C8LU3 torches and about a week later I received a letter from Sunny addressing the letter to a person in Finland apologizing for delay in bis order so I se,nt numerous emailed with paypal confermation code LM codes and they still claim not have received funds and asked to buy the same items again they would quickly get my order out .I called PayPal qbo had confirmation of funds bieng transferred to Xiou Bieng enterprises on 2/18 so now they are disputing it with Lightmalls, this is my firat order ever directly from a Hong kong based enterprise however I ordered 4 each. 18650 Panasonic batteries a nitecore 2 bay ac/dc charger and a headlamp from fasstech and tbey have tracking#s and shipment progress through usps no problems so far! Anyone else know where I can vet decent quality. C8U3 torches? Edit I apologize I have attempted numerous times to correct post my GIII not allow me to edit truly sorry

Within 24 hours PayPal had settled dispute and I corresponded with Sunny of Lightmalls and be personally guaranteed to assure my light would be shipped FedEx to me well today 5 days after settling PayPal dispute I have my 3 Ulatrafire aC8 LU3’s I feel like a kid with new toys and owe Lightmalls and a Sunny an apology as he made good on his word all lights finishes are excellent! ’

Agree with Sirius9 . I have bought from them before but had always totalled $50, so I always assumed shipping was free. Recently wanted to buy another C8, but found you had to pay $2.95 for shipping.

The products are fine and shipping is quick, but the huge FREE SHIPPING screaming on the website is a huge LIE.

Because of that I will no longer buy from them anymore on principle.

They didn’t give me an option I paid 16.95 $ USD for 4day shipping which they did follow through with okay well actually 5 days EDIT: I had one problem last month they received money from PayPal but sent an e-mail from another person who lived in Finland stating his order was on ways with tracking number I emailed. Sunny he s aid he never received my funds I contacted PayPal and it was cleared up and had my C8s in 4 days

I made a recent purchase from them of a Trustfire X100, Trustfire X6 SST90 and some Trustfire Flame 26650 Batteries, even with $17.95 4 day Shipping, the final cost totally obliterated the Best Price i could get anywhere else. It arrived quickly and all in good condition. I guess it depends on what you buy from them as to what the savings may be, other items may not work out quite as Cheap.

Again, LM do offer free shipment at any price.

To do this, skip the internal checkout and just straightaway pay with Paypal. Then you’ll get your stuff through unregistered mail (free).

Lightmalls has always shipped within a day of ordering. Depending on customs, they get to me from very slow to very fast. I really like Lightmalls. The two problems I have had, they have made good on. They are good folk in my opinion.

No problems except a couple dings on one light. Not bad though.

STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU SHOP ELSEWHERE!!!
MISLEADING ADVERTISING, ARROGANT AND RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
ALL OVER $5 WORTH OF BATTERIES!!!

I ordered 2 Boruit headlamps from lightmalls.ca on 1/5/21

With a website that ends with “.ca” one would think it was a Canadian site, not so.
Only after ordering was it revealed they were being shipped from Shenzhen, Guangdong province China
That, was misdirection #1
Package finally arrived 1 month later on 2/5/21

Both packages had crushed corners, so i carefully opened and discovered no damage to product
However, this is where the trouble started

1 of the headlamps arrived without batteries, so i rechecked the ad. It stated “2*18650 battery”. According to their customer service, this means it TAKES 2*18650 batteries and those DO NOT come with the purchase.BTW these are 3.7v rechargeable batteries… Not something readily available in Canada
When questioned regarding their “misleading” advertising their customer service rep claimed i threatened them ( which i did not, i stated that my reviews of their business would reflect the transaction appropriately), they had ” dealt with people like you” before and did not “accept” my threats
Several emails later it was agreed they would send me 2 batteries, however, it was Chinese New Year and all shipping was closed and they would address this when they came back
They ” addressed” it all right

The ads now state “Does not include batteries” which was not stated at the time of the transaction
I have been told i can order new batteries from their store OR they would ship me batteries with my next order

A wise old man once said to me ” water…is at once, the most yeilding of elements…yet the mightiest of eroding forces”
By selling us cheap and inferior products, refusing to stand behind their misleading business practises ( BTW, Paypal has no recourse for Chinese products)… We are slowly having our Canadian standards of business eroded away

Do a quick search for “lightmalls.ca reviews” and see for yourself.
