Most used Lights......

I like the Hugsby and i have been looking at that light since forever now. Please let me know how you like it, the light looks tough.

Will do. Sounds like it might be very good though not the brightest thing ever. Not that this really matters. This comment sounds very good. Hopefully mine (well, Ronnie's actually) will arrive soon.

Being bright is not everything, just as long at the light is useful i will be happy with it.

There is that - but I do like bright. I'll certainly be fair with it when it arrives, like you say brightness isn't everything or I'd have given about a million stars to the Piritlight here.

The ability to give light when you want it to is also extremely important. And it really doesn't matter how much if you really need light - I do EDC a Fenix E01 on one of my keyrings. I have AAA lights on all of my keyrings and a Tank007 TK-703 in my pockets usually.

When it comes to lights we all should own at least 2-3 lights that are awed by people.....i know i have a couple that i like to take with me when we walk the beach at night with the kids. Im hoping and waiting for the light to come in for your review, it seems that it would make a wonderful indoor light.

I have two 6D ROPs in the car for that. But handily portable they aren't. And a bag full of lights that usually lives in the trunk of the car. Currently in my living room as I'm pulling them out for the troubleshooting and maintenance thread. Must dig out my first bright light as it gave quite a bit of trouble in its time - the famous Golston 7W light.

I have never heard of that light........must be older then i am......lol, just joking.

I too don't worry too much about brightness but the lights do have to look good. Laughing

That HUGSBY P31 Don is waiting for looks really good to me. I can't wait for Don's review on it.

I might need to add that light to my collection, but i really have to remember that it doesnt take 3.7volt cells....or the pill will go poof.

But it sure does look cool. Smile

I was thinking about getting this light as well. It has better knurling then some of the other lights that i have been checking out.

Looks like the Ultrafire A10, but it has an XP-E LED. Hmmm . . . might be a good one to put a XP-G in. There aren't many XP-E's on DX.

For me, I'll list my four most used lights in order of frequency: (Please don't laugh )

As you might have guessed, I keep this on my keychain at all times, and use it very frequently. It is very bright, weightless, and indestructable. And it costs like $0.52

I keep this fairly bright and durable Powerlight in my backpack at all times, because I can afford to lose it and because the battery lasts forever.

Great price, perfect tailstanding, good battery life, multi-modes, extremely bright, and easily replaceable, the Trustfire F20 earned a place in my quick-access drawer in my house.

The Ultrafire C3 SS is affordable, high quality, and has a nice low mode. I keep it on my tabletop with the GITD tailswitch up so I can find it during a power outage.

Here everyone is amazed when they see my $4.28 Powerlight. They say it would be great for armadillo hunting, which I personally haven't tried yet. (An armadillo can be caught by stunning it with a bright light in his/her eyes.)

What do you do with an armadillo once you've caught it? I seem to remember they are inedible but my memory may well be wrong.

I haven't tried armadillo yet, but it is a favorite food here. Many jungle animals taste a lot like gamey pork. And many of them are caught by stunning them with light.

I thought for sure it would taste like chicken. Laughing

A lot of foxes get shot that way here. Not that anyone would want to eat fox - you can smell a dog fox from a considerable distance. They tend to be lamped with high powered vehicle mounted lights though. Shooting from public roads (Or within 30 metres) is highly illegal here, but that doesn't stop folk.

Nothing to laugh at Mr. Admin.....you have a nice selection there.

I end up using my Akoray K-109 (CR123) 3 mode programmable the most as well as my ITP A3 (1 AAA) and then Ultrafire L2 (XP-G R5) with (1) 18650. I also have a freebe keychain light. These are the most commonly used.

I have an R2 aspheric thrower that is played with at night often but not really "used" all that often. :)

I have lights for diving that are used often for diving but not for anything else.

I have a Proton Pro that seems like the perfect light on paper and I like it but for some reason I hardly ever use it!
