Stormtrooper lights - lots 'o pics

Interesting, different, unusual. It's what I would expect from the lathemeister.Smile

Wow, good stuff! Looks like you haven't wasted any time playing with the new lathe. Very nice work!

Thanks again for the kind words.

@Match : These were actually made on the old machine, but I just got them back from the coater. I am, however, doing some top-secret work with the new machine on some other Solarforce parts...stay tuned !

I can visualize a New York interior designer modding those lights into lamps for someone’s Manhattan penthouse.

Super work CX. You a bad mother!

how did you cut the nobbly bits on the “German stick bomb” lights? They’re certainly all quite unique!

Hmm, Natalie Portman. Our next child is definitely going to be called Natalie, girl or boy. We already have a Sophie (after Sophia Loren and other gorgeous Sophies) and Isabella (after Isabella Rossalini)

CX, one word for you: AWESOME!

VERY. AWESOME.

You would name a boy ‘Natalie’? That ain’t right man!

Shut yo' mouth !

(I'm talkin' about CX)

Then we can dig it !

If you're referring to the L2X pics, I can't take credit - they come that way.

Thanks again !

goooorgeous work. Very cool concept too. Love the theme  And that cerakoting. Dang, I can’t afford such things right now lol

that last one is too sick! id rock that one as my edc.

WOW!

Kinda puts the whole "Boy Named Sue" thing into perspective...

Excellent!

What is the tailcap in this L2M??

Beautiful work!!

Does the coating hold up well? :)

Love em all except for those fugly crenelated(tactical killer) bezels, IMO they ruin otherwise sci-fi’ish lights

alright, alright, Nate then. Jeez, I’m sure he’d grow up to be a well adjusted man either way

(Elvis voice) Thank you...thankyouverymuch.

IIRC, it's a first-run L2M tailcap.

Cerakote is the most durable aftermarket coating I've yet found; it's often used on firearms.

There aren't enough Foyzels to go around. :)

That L2X reminds me of a meat tenderizer or framing hammer. My left thumb aches just looking at it. Amazing work Cx. Does that coating work on Cu?
