Hey guys, great forum, been lurking for a while. I had to jump on the triple bandwagon. I purchased a triple q4 with narrow optic from led supply. I was going to put it into my solarforce. Then it hit me, I pulled the bezel off of my ultrafire p10, removed the glass and the optic fit perfectly. The triple sat well on top of the pill sidewalls too, but then it was not contacting enough for good heat transfer. I found that a brass 1/2"male x3/8" female pipe reducing bushing would work to add mass to the pill. I cut off the hex part, inserting the treaded part with a wrap of foil tightly into the pill. I then filed the pill flat for the triple to sit on. It is powered by a 8x7135 driver set to high/low, with an Ultrafire 2500. This thing gets hot very fast. I have the batteries charging. I will do beam shots comparing with my solarfoce xml, and a 501b xpg r5, as well as tailcap measurements. Please excuse my crappy pic posting skills.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I took beamshots 10' off the wall. This was a fun little project. The p10 puts out a massive hotspot with nearly no spill. Great for less than 30'.
