Just had newsletter from Going Gear - they have acquired a load of old logo 4Sevens stock, that they are selling off at up to 50% discount.
Link here.
Good deals if you like Quarks etc.- eg Quark X AA2 Tactical $35.95.
Edit>> Oh, and winteriscoming coupon gets you another 10% off. Shipping kills it for me.
You beat me to it. Shipping is additional $11. All in all an awesome deal. Trying to convince my bro to get one
For the price, the best. NO BRAINER.

I should have said shipping and VAT and duty and Post Office handling fees kill it for me. I’m sure many US members might be interested.

Two hours after ordering, my two quarks shipped. Can’t wait!
A great buy. You wont regret it for that price. Just used mine on high for about 1 1/4 hours to light my tv room instead of the normal light as my room was too hot and will be used for 8 hours on moonlight or low for 8 hours as night lamp

Thanks for the heads up on this and the coupon code. I just purchased two of the Quark “X” AA² Tacticals. I love the tactical UI.
Very timely too. I gave the one I owned to my dad about a month ago.
If I had the funds, I would probably order a couple more.
I like the fact that it is the old logo.

What are comparisons between the tactical and regular? Which model is most favored in the flashlight world ?
Edit: are they both fwd clickies with momentary? I’ve come to like that setup.
Why does the voltage say max 4.2V? Does that mean you can use a single 14500 + Spacer?
Would that be better than 2xAA?

It is just a matter of what you like. It is a nice flashlight either way.
The tactical only allows access to two modes. One mode with head tightened and another mode with head loosened. You have to program the light and you get your choice of all the different modes but you only get two at a time. It makes it a simple and easy to use light.
The nontactical has access to all modes by loosening and tightening the head and soft pushing the switch.

because thats the max voltage, you could buy the single aa body and use a 14500 if you want

The tactical is forward clickie and the regular is reverse clickie.
With the tactical you can use the switch momentarily as fast or slow as you want without the fear of switching modes.
Tactical does not tailstand, regular does.
So the quark X tactical or the Crelant V21A? The Crelant off SB right now is like $33 shipped - and i really like my 7G5CS.
So many tough decisions!

that’s a nice setup, but the AA body is $20 and shipping is $9 at the only place I found that had one. Ugh! Still, that would be a great EDC.
