Your BLF Avatar

Simple, it's a picture of me. Boring, right?

Some are simple, some are boring, some are funny and others well….need some sort of explaining I guess.

I'm working on it.

Mine is just a pic of my Armytek Predator glowing from this thread

Used to be a pic of the waterboy serving an 8-bit Tecmo Super Bowl player a drink.

Well i asked a member here if i could borrow it and told me a funny story about and the rest explains itself.

Can't figger out how to use my "regular" avatar over here....different format, I guess.

Current avatar is youngest GrandSon, not yet 5 y.o., but a gifted athlete.

Mine is the infamous picture of a giant baby that photoshopped a headlamp and a flashlight into. :D Probably not changing it anytime soon.

Mine is just me taken during our "Big Trip" to Jamaica after my wife finished her Masters degree. The photographer took this photo and after he saw it he said I MUST keep this photo for Facebook. I don't do Facebook (I know, I'm in the minority), so thought I'd make use of it here. I've been itching to change it again, but I'm not very creative.

It goes with my name.

A picture of me with a 24lb gobbler. I’m a turkey hunter.

scaru. Is that you?

Just changed mine from Evil Otto of the 1980s video game Bizerk to David Mann, the guy who was escaping the charging semi in the 1971 hit movie (you really should see it!), Duel.

I just get tired of them from time to time, and hence, feel the need to change them.

A bigger picture so you can see me looking ever so good.

I know one thing. I vote scaru most likely to respond to any given BLF thread!

I second the notion.

Pajama Sam was a computer game I used to play with my son (seems like such a long time ago, my son’s 18 now). Anyway, in the game Sam had to find his flashlight and go on a quest to find where darkness lived. Seems appropriate now.

The BIG question remains…. scaru, is that really you in the avatar?

I like the Akoray K-106.

Very fitting for an avatar… It seems like some actually have meaning or history behind what we see.

I remember when you adopted that photo, scaru.

Mine is a picture of the Brooks leather saddle on my rode bike. It's a B-17 Champions Special with Titanium rails and the saddle style has been in production for over a century. 35,000 miles on this particular saddle and counting. Biking is what brought me to BLF, but I've had that avatar for many years on other forums.
