Depends what bulb you’re using.
But probably yes, and car headlights are pointed towards the ground and are spread out more. They have different purposes.

I got the Trunite TN31 at the end. Try it just now outdoor, it is such a thrower, thanks for recommending this light. Now my urge to get SR90 or SR95 is much lower. But I start thinking to get Olight X6 now. My wife and my mother are nagging me now, they don’t know I am thinking about X6 at this moment. Should I get Olight X6?

Ya, definitely I want to see the 5000 lumens outdoor myself. Acquire quite some flashlights, now the list is longer. I guess I have to wait longer to get X6 as my mum and wife are warning me quite seriously not to buy anymore flashlight. They will be mad when they see another 4 flashlights show up.

If this is a recent obsession and not something that you intend to follow for a long time I suggest against getting the Olight X6.
I did some study on BTU and ST90 those were recommended by margamanos. Thanks for the suggestion, margamanos.
For BTU, as I really like Fenix products, knowing the head is kind of copying Fenix kind of making me not so keen to buy it.
ST90 looks very serious and well built. I don’t mind the weight if it can throw further than SR95 or better heat handling. I like heavy lights, but the weight must be there for some reasons, for example heat dissipation. So far not so much information or review about ST90 I can find. I guess it is limited collector item with really really good price(I almost hit the confirm buy button).
I don’t know for sure. I have been playing with plastic flashlight when I was kid.
Why you say so not to get X6 if it is just recent obsession? It has been 1.5 years since I get my first Ultrafire 501B though. It might be short to most flasholics here.
It’s just a warning to not spend too much money on an impulse buy, because it sounds like that is what you are doing. But if not, then by all means carry on. The SR95UT will throw further than the ST90 btw.
You should consider a HID if you don’t have one. There are ones with bigger reflectors than the common flashlight format.
The St90 is direct driven SST90. Pretty decent value for hobbyist compared to pro olights.

I would think it’s in the same ballpark, but st90 is direct draw so will dim as battery fades.

When I bought it, they said 4300k bulb was only available if you ordered 50 of more. You’ll have to buy the 4300k bulb separately unfortunately. But ask if you can, they may have changed.
