Want to see what PWM looks like?

These were taken with a x-2000 type flashlight on low mode, at 1/6th per second shutter speed. I set the self timer and was waving the flashlight really fast. You can see the pwm with the naked eye when waving it fast but the camera picks it up better. Another cool way to see it in action is to point your light at a fan, it has a strobe light effect. -Cessnapilot

freddy good tip on the video camera, I just pointed it at my cell phone camera.

The light really is that blue, maybe around 6400k? I use it for biking so I dont mind the color because it looks like one of those luxury car HID headlights to motorists so it gets noticed more hehe
