For good reviewers

Me too, what the heck i signed in. If they think my reviews are good enough...

No problem, BLF rewiewers are the best.

Req #2: "We don’t want to wait too long".

We neither. :/

lol thought the same thing..they wait 15 days to send out a product..but ohhh don't keep DX waiting..

If it's broken when i get it do i have to pay to send it back ??

..DX has so much nice stuff ..

like a dream .

i wonder if Dino Direct is hiring ?

Sent them a long list of reviews to read, we'll see if they bite or not. But it is 9:30pm on Friday so I imagine it'll be a while (We are dealing with DX time here) till I get a reply.

If you sent them reviews and they don't send you lights .. they are dolts

Very strange if Don does not satisfy their requirements... I don't think i will make the cut since my reviews started to be okayish only lately (my point of view). There is some room for improvement but that will came with time.

Any criticism about my reviewing technique is always welcome.

Agreed. Don's provided us with a ton of good and unbiased reviews.

Don't sell yourself short. Your Skyray 1JC8 and SmilingShark reviews were outstanding!

Thanks Match. It fuels my desire to do more reviews. Always learning and i try my best if i can.

Coming up some driver reviews coming from manafont and a few other stuff and a XM-L mod i will be doing shortly.

Very interesting find, Oldinea, thanks!

I would encourage everyone to apply for this, even if you don't think you'll be selected. I hope that by doing so we can raise DealExtreme's awareness of the existence of BLF. Hopefully they'll start to take into account our opinions a bit more. We have a really unique bunch here, but I think that our opinion is usually representative of the overall market.

sb56637, you make a good point about getting a lot of folks here to apply. More exposure for BLF is always a good thing. Although I doubt they'd care for my reviews since the first thing I'd do is tear the torch apart and test things like "hacksawability" and overall resistance to various drill bits.

Nahh you just improve all that manufacturers failed when designing a flashlight. ;)

;-)

Email sent ...

In the past Jayki was ignored , and I know my requests were ignored [ recently ] ... Hmmmm , oh well ... Would be nice !

I would love to get regular stuff [ like from DX ] for testing , [ sure would ease the pressure on my wallet .... ] , yet still allow one to test and write reviews .. [ Which one enjoys ]

Seriously , even at $10 an hour [ time spent testing-writing ] , DX would be getting more then value for money sending out a $20 or $30 flashlight for testing - review !

I remember early on with the computer hardware sites , when they were sent products to review , there was often some Cash money in the parcel to guarantee a favorable review .

Yeah , the good old days , when Rubbish products were given glowing endorsements , and then 6 months latter , it became common knowledge that said product was Rubbish , and all the review sites that endorsed the product , glossing over the faults = Well , you get the idea ..

I remember testing one Mainboard , and it was buggy as hell , and I wrote so .. This one guy really dug his heels into me on his Forum calling me all sorts of things , turned out he had like about 1000 of these boards in his warehouse he wanted to sell . And about 6 months later , turns out I was right , the Board had a very bad rep for being buggy as all hell ..

Writing stuff - reviews can be tricky , as there will most likely always be some one taking exception to your words for what ever reason . Especially the sponsor !

What happens if they send you Rubbish to test ? In some ways its better to buy , as then you can write the truth and 100% the truth ! And not worry about offending anyone .

There will always be something some one does not like , like for me , Imageshack is doing something to stuff you guys around [ I havent had any problems ] but others have .

And thats sort of out of my control ... Finding a 100% reliable picture host , priceless .

there is no doubt of the existence of BLF, and what refresh me is about: our opinion is usually representative of the overall market. wa~amazing thing!

It could also be good for the reputation of the forum. Maybe they will then stop erasing the links to BLF, when I post them in their forum.

I will not agree doing a review if they want me to "idolize" their product. They must accept the facts. If i get a defective product it will be noted, (should not even happen in the 1st place) and they have the possiblility to resend another.

Yeah, I'm afraid this could turn out to be a shilling operation. I don't know that, but they are saying they want you to post this on blogs and other websites, so it sounds that way. I'm not interested in that either, but I went ahead and sent them an e-mail anyway.

Well if BLF aint enough... i will surely not go spamming elsewhere. :)
