I just use the same spacers that come with the MP1S to charge smaller ones. The USB output is the main reason I got it though, perfect for EDCing when you have an iphone.
I use this one at work. Also handles 26650 without any issues. I haven't been able to find it for $10 though since IOS quit carrying it. If you pay much more than that, you might as well get an Xtar WP2 II. Not much bigger but requires an outlet.
Watch it. That one doesn’t come with a wall adapter. Some do, some don’t. Look at the price. Then look at the included accessories. Mine came with a wall adapter and a car adapter.
I’ve considered that charger as I could use it to charge my phone on the go as well. The only problem I’d have with it is that id only use it connected to the wall which supposedly doubles the charging output which would probably fry my 16340’s. Ideally, what id like is a charger with the plug mounted on the charger so that its on the outlet when its plugged in.
Yes a good choice. I would have suggested that one first, but you said you didn’t want a “two bay” charger.
P.s. buy a couple of extra spacers with it.
When I made this thread, I originally had something in mind like one of those three dollar chargers that plug in and hang from the wall outlet. I know those are probably junk so I was asking if there are better made ones like that but I guess not. Anyway, the single bay chargers like you described sounded like a great idea but I’m a minimalist when it comes to spending money. I could only see buying one charger so it would have to fit all my needs. If I decided to ever buy a two cell light, I’d be regretting buying a single bay charger. Yeah, I have a touch of OCD. LOL
