PCB BOARD SOLDERING?

WHAT TOOLS ARE U-ALL USING TO SOLDER TO THESE TINY BOARDS...I TRY TO CHANGE RESISTOR ON P-60 DROP-IN..IT'S A MESS..

I'm just using a regular 25-watt Weller soldering iron. They had one with more of a needle tip, but it was 40 watts and I was worried about that being too much heat. It's a real challenge. Changing a resistor would be really hard since you kind of have to melt both ends at the same time to get it off.

If the board has components in one side is quite easy, get a tiny tweezer which can hold securely the say resistor, put the board in a vise horizontally and with a 40W soldering iron heat the PCB just under the resistor till the solder melt...

Or you can use the desoldering wire and get rid of all solder you can. Then pry it out by a thin knife or similar (needle?) at each end while heating the remaining solder.

Soddering is a learned art. I have been soddering for awhile and still have problems myself. The small driver boads don't make it any easier...Just take your time. Prep work and a magnifying glass is the key.

if you can find someone or something to hold the pcb use needlenose pliers while the solder is melted and pull out component one side at a time.
