(closed, all sold out) Give me your money: 2nd BLF Light, TrustFire A8

When can we know what the amp draw for high mode will be, and if we can have U2 or U3 as on option?

Yeah, I’d be interested in picking one up only if a U3 option was available and if the amp draw is fairly high.

Does it come with a carrying pouch?

Nice deal, count me in for option 2 shipped via China Mail and with a EU plug.

My suggestion for the name would be A8 BLF Edition.

+1 on the U3 option and the NANJG 105C driver.

Name: BLF Aight! for New Jersey peeps!

I’m in for one. Option 2.

Any chance of an OP reflector?

This is assuming we all survive 12/21/12. :open_mouth:

+100

A good point!
If available, I would take with OP, too.

Over 1KHz PWM would also be highly valued.

I’m in for option 2.

I like “A8 BLF Edition”

High(3A), med(1A), low(350mA), moonlight(100mA)

Short memory, starts on low(momentary off to change modes, longer off comes back on in low)

T6 3C NW

Higher pwm

It’s a big light that’s primary reason for existence is to throw out a lot of light. It should start in high.

^^^ This.

I have multiple pocket size AAA or AA lights for moonlight or firefly mode. Don't need this big bruiser doing it too...

I don’t know, moon light has its uses. I’m happy if it has no damm flashy modes though. :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry for the confusion. I don't mind the Low, just want it to start on High, which was ouchyfoot's point. I was agreeing with him that the primary use of a big light like this is high output, so modes should start on High.

Fair comment, I’m seeing this as a house/camping light, the moonlight would be ideal for checking on the kids, in that instance, starting low and building up would be better - little point switching down to low if I’ve already blasted 800 lumens into the area….

As I’ve said earlier though, I don’t mind which way it goes, I can adapt myself or maybe build another edc that suits me.

I do have a plan for a trustfire t2, three nichea 219’s and a kd 3a nanjg driver, I may order 5 that start moonlight and build up to 3a in one mode group and start at 3a and work down to moonlight in the next group. Then I have either option on other mods. 8)

Edit, perhaps Rey’s having this kind of driver fitted, in which case, if they were ordered as I specified above, people could change the mode run to either way, you’d only need an iron and a solder sucker or some braid to remove the solder bridge.

Check on the kids with a zebralight. It’s tiny and will run forever on lo/moonlight with one AA.

Yep, but that means stretching to a zebralight, to give you an idea, my most pricey light is my ancient incan 3d Maglite, otherwise most of my lights are sub $30, I truly am budget minded.

Mods may run to more if I tot up the bits, but part of the value to me in those is the satisfaction of messing about building something myself.

hi,

i did not hear that it will cause a duty and tax by DHL.

if i declare the value at only 10-20$.

Best Regards

Rey

Hey WWEFANS

Have you decided on a name yet? There’s been a lot of different suggestions thus far. Perhaps we need to poll it.
