got my xtar wp2-ll today

Looks to be a well made charger. It also came with the car charger cord too. My only gripe is that my tenergy 18650’s don’t make contact on the positive end due the protected cells having a flat positive end. I guess I can add a couple solder blobs to the positive contacts on the charger?

Or the battery.

Or some small magnets?

My Tenergy flat-tops did not make consistent contact either when I first got the WP2 II, but now they do. Go figure.

Maybe yours will too after a break in period.

These will fix it. Free shipping.

I think my solution (to satisfy my ocd) is the use two small screws, cut the down to size and thread them into the holes leaving just the head sticking out. The magnets are a good idea but I have some screws laying around of the correct size. Solder blobs would keep me awake at night. LOL. Yeah, I know it was my idea.

Would magnets not interfere with the charger electronics?
