Wich of this flashlight to choose? Eastward j01, Eastward j06, KD C8 CREE XML T6 1000 Lumen or UltraFire C8 XM-L T6 3-Mode LED

By the time you decide what you want to buy--there will be a dozen more new ones every other day and your decision will be a 100 times harder to make. Good luck.

Finally, due to the review of KD C8 from this forum i'm going to order that, i have no reasons for ordering EastWard J06 (except its very good looking). KD C8 is ugly but the review is very good here and has a very good price.

Thanks and sorry if my english isn't very good, it isn't my native languaje.

Don't worry about your English - it's fine. It is about 100000000000000000000000000x better than my Spanish.

Thank you very much Don.

Si alguien quiere mejorar su español por aqui estoy Wink.

The last time I was in Madrid I managed with si, no, por favor, gracias, cerveza, cigarillos and café solo. :)

That met most needs..

By the way, the protected batteries 2400ma 18650 with flames from DX can fit well in the KD C8 XML 1000 lumes?. I hope yes. I know that sometimes protected batteries do not fit in some flashlights due to longer size.

I see Don, only things for taking in a restaurant/bar Laughing. By the way now you can't smoke in public sites in Spain due to new law.

Or here. It's a while since it was banned in Scotland.

Since my last visit to Madrid seemed to involve a lot of bars, this was fine.

A friend of mine who used to work where I do married a Spanish woman and moved to Madrid and I go out sometimes to visit him.

@xatu:

Yes, it fits.

But i don´t know, if they will work @high.

Because i have old flamed trustfire they work fine and my newer ones don´t work @high.(because of protection)

I have ordered some more and will test it ;)

You must visit Seville too Don. It's a beautiful city.

That's strange and i'm afraid that KD C8 can't work in high mode, the 3a power is one of the reasons for choosing it. May be that the eastward j06 can work in high mode sure because it only drops 2.3a?

It´s only the protection of the battery.

But yes, when drives less A, the protection circuit will not kinging in.

...most of my flamed trustfires(the older ones) work fine in the KD C8...i have only one 2-pack newer ones ;)

There's a lot of Spain I'd love to visit. The only places in Spain I have been are Palma, Toledo (for six hours) and Madrid. I'd love to live in Spain from what I have seen of it. The food is a lot better.

The Basque (?Vasco?) country is quite similar to where I live, but we don't have the poisonous politics. The mountains in the Basque country are a lot higher. There is nowhere in Scotland above 1250m.

If you know of anywhere in Spain that wants a very well-paid Protestant pastor or Mac consultant who can't speak more than twenty words of Spanish I want to know about it. And want the job...

Don't forget Chemist, Don.

I see very difficult to work in Spain Don. I have not job here and i'm computer engineer.

Seville, where i live, is at south of Spain, you have visited North and middle of Spain. I never went to visit "País Vasco" but i have been visiting Madrid.

Kinda forgot that Pete. It has been 25 years.

The more recent stuff would require a couple of months/years with the textbooks.

To be honest I'd completely forgotten that.

Adding Chemist to a resume would definitely help.

You can always just put it at the bottom.

Today i got my new flamed trustfires....it work fine!

means, only at 2 of my now 12 flamed trustfires protection circuit kicking in. :)

Only fail at 2 of 12 of your batteries? In this case the problem was that two batteries and not the KD C8, they are good news.

I am English and live in a rural part of Andalucia and many of the local bars turn a "blind eye" to the smoking law.
