Good Job Justin…. I nominate you TOP BLF MODDER X 12!!!

Thanks as always for the inspiration!!

Dan.

Yes

I thought they would go like candy at a childrens birthday party! Way to go O-L and way to go to all the happy owners.

To everyone who purchased. I will start shipping Tuesday. For the members needing a Dummy Cell, I have to make them up, so please bear with me. I intend to ship those lights (with the dummy cells), by the middle to latter part of this week. I will PM all of you, when your light ships out.

Thank you again,

Justin

Simply AMAZING!!

Justin, you da maglite man!!

...and let's not forget all the time Justin needed to take those great photos of the process, post, and write it all up!

OL…you are exceptionally talented!

Gives new meaning to* “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. :)*

I agree. Again, Again.

Put me on the list for the next run, please

Next Run? Oh no! Not again!?!

LOL, I might need to do some more. I seriously did not know how well this would go over. I think though, that I will wait for some feedback from the buyers, before I do any more. I think it's good to hear back from people and see what I might be missing or overlooking.

I look forward to see how people like their lights.

A little off topic, but man I love that flame mag in your avatar! 8)

Alright,

I need to give a quick review.
I got this awesome light on Friday and have been battling a severe sinus cold and also have had to travel to take my Mother home after her visit for Thanksgiving so have not had ample time to test this puppy.

I emailed Justin earlier to ask him how much this light needs/wants as I was afraid to get the 14500 setup for fear of frying the emitter.
Anyway, long story short I put 2 Ray O Vac alkaline batteries in it and it did not seem that bright, but being I have never owned a Nichia LED I did not know what to expect.
Justin said the light is probably happiest around 3 volts and to try some Energizer Lithium’s. Then I remembered my wife’s digital camera has those in it so I borrowed her’s and it woke it right up!

So to those of you who are using AA primaries, don’t go cheap.
I will also try the Duracell’s as Justin also recommended.
Nice light and easy to carry.
It is an honor to own one of his limited edition lights.
Thanks,
Keith

I might be the last one to get it. Mostly it will take 2 to 3 weeks to reach me. I have waited shipment from USA for 5 weeks before. I have prepared 4 Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA. Will see how to make it work with 14500 without risk. Can we put a 7135 in the dummy cell?

Late as usual :frowning:

Hey Justin, I’ll take number 13 when it’s finished

Great work man!

If you want to see this puppy dance, try a couple NiZn rechargeables in it… All SOLD - 2AA Maglites "Flag Light" Nichia 219, Carlco TIR -

I received mine last weekend. They are wonderful. I use them to look at pictures on the wall in darkness. They really bring out the color, much comfortable to eye than cree LED. Thanks to OL for building them. My only con for the dark one is the bezel can’t be screwed down all the way as I think the gap is a little big. If I take out the TIR optic, it can be screwed all the way down. Strange the camo seems fine as the gap is smaller.
