Review: UniqueFire UF-F10 (Fenix TK35 clone)

I like my T13 better than the T08, and they are really close in throw to each other.

your commentary and found myself nodding in agreement ….“Oh I see kind of moment”…and in addition just really presenting your product with the intent on educating those, including myself ,who is very much new at this and still looking to match up “flashlight terminology with pictures of said termins”!!Absolutely enjoyed it.

The form of T08 is nice, I can´t argue with that.
T13 just has so good UI. Instant HIGH always on tailcap and easy step-down with Side-Clicky and you don´t need to cycle through nasty disco-modes 8)
No loose driver PCB´s, no issues whatsoever.
I just wish I would soon get those resistors…

Excellent review , sir .

I will buy your modded version when you tire of it .

Given that most of the t-08’s are coming in driven at about 2a, if you want to make the most of it, your still either going to have to fit a .22ohm resistor or a pot. I’m waiting to see what the pot johnny’s ordered reads as mine is to high.

Another thing to note, I found my crap ultrafire cells gave 3a where other better cells only gave 2.34a. Viffer noted that the driver is odd in that its very responsive to resistance in circuit, unfortunately, I’ve not found any mods to the host that raised drive current.

Looking at this, I wish I’d sprung the extra few cents for the tk-35 clone.

Johnny, how were the tail cap screws? This is a real bug bear of mine with my zy-t08, their just crap quality. Great review, thanks for sharing.

Gords, the tail piece screws in mine were fine. None were stripped and are of decent quality.

As for the pots I ordered, I got the ones Viffer recommended from ebay. Dirt cheap, too!

Nice one, now I’m really thinking I need to buy this too…. I’ll just plump for it and order a few of those pots next week. Do us a favour, when you do the mod, could you take some macros and add them here?

I guess you know what I’m thinking….another damm good post and review for the mod reference guide. 8)

Soitenly.

Excellent review as always, JohnnyMac! I do like this light, looking toward to your power mod.

Great review! Very thorough with plenty of photos - hours and hours worth of hard work. Thanks for sharing!

I don’t care what anyone else says, you rock my man. :cowboy_hat_face: 8)

Thanks Johnny! I really wish they made this light with batteries parallel.

Good review Johnnymac, seems like Tmart has the best price for the TK35 clone.

They are all the same you can only go on price and overall quality when deciding whom to buy it from.

Thanks very much for the review! Frontpage’d and Sticky’d.

Since vast majority of XML lights are driven well over 2A, I am actually happy to find one that is below. I use recycled cells from laptop batteries and they don’t handle high 2+ amps well.

I thought there were many other 2x18650 lights at 3A and 4A. In fact I have one with 3 XMLs at 4A max mode. It gets very hot very fast and cells are working super hard. I don’t find it useful or safe. Even medium mode at 2A I use only for 5-10 min max.

Nice to have lower current choices

Seems same as all the other tk35 clones, but this one won the tint lottery since most are blue.

I bought one too from TMart. Must say I like it for its build quality, white beam and nice form factor. Nice light and relatively cheap too - think TK35 and you know what I mean. Beef it up and you will have the performance of TK35 for a song. Way to go. I commend TMart for their customer service and their willingness to remedy a problem and resolve things quickly.
On another note, I am cycling through my DRY and thrunites daily (TN11s, T10 & TN30 purchased recently during their promotion). They are my go to light for portability and the TN30 and Dry for lighting up the trail.

So whats the chance of moding this into a 3 amp MT-G2 light?

What’s really great about this one is the price at TMart. It’s still $25, whereas it’s close to double everywhere else (including eBay). This looks like quite a good deal for what you pay for.

I had Vinhnguyen54 on CPF modify one for me its got a five amp five mode driver lck-led.com - Informationen zum Thema lck led. Very bright, the LED from http://intl-outdoor.com/noctigon-mtg20-mcpcb-cree-mtg2-p0-5000k-6v-led-p-727.html This MT-G2 really benefits from a 40mm reflector. At the batteries I get 4.4 amps with fully charged Panasonic 3400 mah. Some faint whine on the two lower modes. His work is top notch.
