These Black Shadow lights are remarkable! Owning two of them (Darth & Padme) I have to say I have not seen other lights machined to these standards. They are truly works of art and fine examples of machining craftsmanship. Look at these macros of the Terminator...
No visible machining marks or sharp edges to be found. Just perfect surfaces and anodizing. Works of art IMO. I love the color they use, too!
They are coming out with all sorts of designs to fill every little niche for us flashoholics.
I think all the X's on the body makes it seem like it came from Professor Xavier's Mansion or Dr. McCoy's lab. It's the new X-men's field lighting tool.
Wow I like that! I own an EYE-30, and was a bit bummed when the EYE-40 came out, but wasn’t going to spend that much more coin on another light right away. This thing might be a nice alternative. It would be great if you can turn it off at any point without having to cycle down to off. They should kill the strobe and have it as press and hold the button for more than a second to turn off.
It' about $146 according to the exchange rate 159,000 wan South Korean but they have a Nitecore TN15 for $303(330,000wan). they also have a Nlight ST50 for $55.

They also have a darth for $92 and a padme for $64.
I reakon this light with discount would be about $110 as JohnnyMac got the Padme for $48
I'm waiting for an email response from my contact at Black Shadow about this light. I have to admit I am completely smitten with every one of their lights so far. They are like Pokemon and I need to catch them all.

Uhhh, screwing the head has never turned off my power… J) Does tend to make me sleepy, though.
