I have an x2000 thats in need of a new led. Does anyone know if the kd xml led http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=11102
fit in the x2000 and if so what driver can i use. Thanks!
I doubt it'll be optimal, the X2000 isn't all that great at getting rid of heat. Or at least mine wasn't.

What do you want to get out of the light? More flood or more throw? You could stick with the stock driver and swap in an xml and get more lumens and a lot more flood, but throw in zoom mode would suffer. Ditto for the xpg r5, just less so. For more throw either a Q5 or R2 would be a good swap. I've got a post here showing you what an xml would look like in a flood to throw, although as Don said heat would be an issue (only if driven to 2.8+ amps).
