This looks like a similar (the same?) light. Ships from USA. Free 2-day with Prime!

Nice find. Looks identical as far as I can tell, and not only is it cheaper, it’s fast/free shipping! I put it in my amazon cart and told my wife I found a Christmas present.

Hi, I have read the thread through and the lights seems to be what I need. So protected batteries is a must but most dont seem to fit. Anyone out there who has found a make of protected ones that fit without modding the light ? I would like to get as close to 3000mAh as possible but yes they all seem to be closer to 70 mm long

Eagletac’s 3100mAh/3400mAh ones are smallest of protected >3000mAh batteries.

Amazon delivered mine today. Its identical to the one reviewed (except says Zuwit T6 on the side). I had to shorten the springs to fit protected 18650s. AC Charger has US plug and it came with all the regular cell phone adapters including microUSB. Works great.

Seeing it on Amazon definitely makes this harder to resist. Shipped by Amazon, so returns are easy, and I can have it in two days, or even next day for $4.00 more. Still cheaper than anywhere else!

Wish Amazon had the neutral white version!

I have my NW XinTD C8 in hand along with batteries. The charger will be delivered tomorrow. This is my first NW, so I will finally see what all the talk is about!

I’ve had mine for over 6 months. Got the NW, a UCL lens, and added a ninth 7135.

A really nice combination of 3x 18650 cell capacity, single LED throw, good LMH modes, and a package size that’s perfect for the hand.
Recharging without handling batteries is so convenient. I haven’t used the charging out capability much but it’s there if needed - I most likely would need it for a cell phone while camping, so I don’t need to worry about the over-discharging.

The branding on the side could be a bit less tacky. Mine says JinHeng 12A.

Did you guys receive this light with mode memory from intl-outdoor ? i got that impression from some previous posts. Mine does not have it

Hi Fred,

My neutral white 3-mode has mode memory. I just double checked it before posting this.

+1 on the mode memory from intl-outdoor

I like the looks of this light…very cool and gobs of tech appeal.

Ok so according to intl-outdoor they are no longer using the same driver in the light as was reviewed in this thread. The current driver does not support mode memory, however mine (purchased in dec 2012) will turn to HIGH mode after being shut off for a timeperiod of 30 seconds regardless of which mode it was at when turned on. I would have liked to have memory but i guess I can live with this as well.

Have anyone fitted intl-outdoor PCS Panasonic NCR18650A 3100mAh Protected Batteries in the light ?, id like to get them but i’m concerned about their thickness, length should be fine after shortening the springs.

i’m also noticing a loss of mAh when charging a HTC smartphone, still have to calculate the efficiency of the transfer though

FYI - Ordered one from Kaidomain and just got the flashlight and the recharge USB cable. The Zuwit T6 I got from Amazon came in a padded box, with an 2 amp A/C charger, a universal USB cable and tips for 7 or 8 cell phones.

Otherwise they are identical and I had to clip the springs on both to accept protected 18650s. They are also both very very tight in terms of internal diameter if you use 3x 18650s. Using 1 or 2 batteries it fits nice and snug but with 3 you have to be very careful not to scratch the wrapper on the batteries and be very careful the protection strip is facing inwards in case you cause a short.

I wish they were a millimeter wider and 4 millimeters longer.

This products seems to have changed quite a bit since the initial review. The light I purchased (intl,dec2012) has a undervoltage security that works both when the led is used and when devices are charged. Have not measured the voltage for when this happens but as the last red led goes down the charging ports are turned off.

I just got one in from Kaidomain (http://www.kaidomain.com/Product/Details.S020383). Of course, I crammed it into the Sphere ’o Many Mysteries.

Low: 22 lumens
Medium: 132 Lumens
High: 425 lumens

CCT: 5700K (5200K on low)
PWM: 238 Hz
Strobe: 15.5 Hz

The unit has a 6 microamp parasitic drain on the batteries. With three 2000 mAh cells, this will discharge the batteries in 1 million hours… probably not a problem. I’d also be discharged after 114 years.

If the charger button is ON, the drain increases to 6 milliamps due to the LEDs.

The version I purchased from IOS, I thought was brighter than that being 700 lumens, but the specs show 6*AMC7135, so I guess not. I would imagine at least 2 more 7135’s on there would goose it up to what it should have been in the first place. I never bothered doing this to mine because I felt it was bright enough and I do use it for recharging my iPad and ipod.

Are you going to modify it?

TexasPyro, if you need the links to the USB and mini USB dust covers, the direct links are in post #18. If you feel you need to cover up the labeling on the hand grip like I did on mine, PM me your address and I can send you a piece of soft texture grip tape in either black or gray color. I have a photo of mine with the texture grip tape shown in post #60.

Lastly, Flashlightlens.com has a nice UCL AR coated lens that I installed in mine. Works great on this light too.

Mine draws 2.2A on high… looks like it has 6 x 380mA chips.
