Test / Review: EnerPower 26650 4500mAh (Dark blue)

Nice battery, but these are regular Li-ion, not as safe as the Orange IMR 26650 which is 4000mah & 10 Amp discharge though.

Nice review, thanks

Probably because the average discharge voltage is closer to 3.6 volt, than 3.7 volt at some specified current.

IMR is a safer chemistry, just remember that INR is not.

Without the protection I would also expect these batteries to do 10A.

Are these available yet?

I do not know when they will be available, but Enerpower know I have published the review.

Ok, thanks

Thanks very much for the review! Frontpage’d and Sticky’d.

I’ve just come across these on eBay, I’ll have to cross check the seller before posting the link, they are advertised as in Berlin though, and not cheap either, but look interesting now I’ve re-read the review. Thanks hkj.

That’s Enerpowers eBay shop, I’ve bought a few cells from them, and exchanged emails with Assi about the Samsung INR18650-20R’s I recently bought. Great people to deal with.

Cheers
Matt

Yeah, we need to get a GB together for these monsters.

A quality protected 26650 that is around 68mm? Yes Please.

The Keeppower protected are 70.5mm!

Hmmmm...just had two of these delivered but check the labels out:

Just had a reply from the seller, they put the wrong labels on (as suspected) and will send me some new ones out.

New labels or batteries?

Labels.

Why that's even trickier than the Chinese. Those crazy Germans, trying to pass off a 26650 as a 18650!

I'm really liking this battery. I hope Kumabear eventually starts selling them. The shorter length will be good for my BLF A8.

I’m going to start a group buy interest check thread for these Enerpower 26650’s

Me too…how much?

Here we go again…put me on your list, Matt. Thanks.

I’m interested in the UK here.
