New!!! Eagletac TX25c2

There are a ton of lights I would of bought by now, but I’m a tint snob. I wish more people would demand better tint.

The XPG S2 Neutral is awesome. No one is offering it. Hopefully Eagletac will.

There are neutral xp-g s2’s? :open_mouth: …even neutral R5’s are pretty rare.

Sorry, I meant XPG G2 neutral.

Actually I think it’s a great sounding UI and mostly because:

“Twist the head to select between four output brightness levels. You can pre-select the desired output level before turning on the flashlight.”

Knowing what output the light is on before you active it is priceless IMO and brilliant feature.

I really like that it seems to be compatible with the ET flip-up-diffuser, according to this
I think more manufacturers should offer something like this!
BUT: the modes a quite awkward: I mean, 1030-795-490-8 led lumen… :expressionless: are you kidding me?

10301 lumens? I’m in!

From third pic the reflector looks like it´s going to give a ringy beam…

These would actually be some pretty cool modes
…fixed it.

but seriously, I wonder why no one else is complaining, there is no medium mode like around 100 lumen, what I would use most of the time with a light like this, but three high modes ~500 - ~800 - ~1000… … this is so crucial that I dont even wanna mention the low being too high.

Yeah, they really missed out on this being a big seller because of the modes. I wouldn’t be surprised if they correct that mistake soon though.

P20A2 MkII

P20C2 MkII

T20C2 MkII

G25C2 MkII

D25A Clicky Ti MkII

TX25C2 Mk..

i think i get it :D

How do you mean?

It’s going to output better than the sc600, and hold its own against the sc600 mkII due too that smooth reflector. Of love to see a YouTube video on the UI

Great lights, kind of lousy anodization. My G25C2 MkII works great, but just from being my pockets, looks like it's been to a war zone.

Does anybody recommend what the cheapest fitting 3400mAh 18650 would be for the C2 here?

Armytek has some XP-G2 lights. and they have a sale on for one more day…

Are you sure the Fasttecs work? I just know they are extra big so comparing this information to some other thread where I read that extra long ones don’t fit in the TX makes me uncertain about them.

The unprotected ones will work. Protected ones probably not.

Forgive me if I’m just misinformed but aren’t the unprotected NCRs too flat?

My situation is that I want the TX25C2 and have 3x unprotected 3100 mAh. They are not really raised top from how I see that so I don’t assume they would fit in the new purchased light because it has this stupid plastic ring that prevents anything under 7mm (or something like that) to make contact. The unproteced NCRs are not protruding, they are maybe not true flat tops but there is no “button” on them so I’m just sceptical about them working.

I want to figure out what batteries will fit not to have a bad surprise later.

If anybody can confirm from experience that the unprotected NCRs (I guess the structure of the 3100 and the 3400 shold be the same for the unprotected ones, right?) work in the TX that would be great. I wouldn’t have to bother getting new cells after all then and can just order the light right away, start selling my SC600.
