How did we do? (FastTech.com)

Ordered fandyfire stl-v2. Gift to my friend.

DayLighter wrote “haven’t seen company that being honest regarding the product”

I hear you… but maybe there’s a little ebb in the tide hopefully

“We are the manufacture of Ultrafire collection, and here declare that we had not manufactured over 3000mAh above for #18650 rechargeable…” “Official” Ultrafire website: WhaFat Technological Co.,Ltd

and from another website (google/bing translation) for what its worth (makes some sense though):

“UltraFire trademark applications for registration and corporate Lu Shuying Hong Kong, subsidiary Shenzhen Huafa Technology Ltd company name. Company’s official site http://www.ultrafire.net the domestic application of the trademark had not entirely approving, without legal protection, so now the manufacturers are in the use of its trademark, and why online flashlight, batteries, UF everywhere, why prices vary.”

Ultra-fire never was able to brand✔ the name (it seems)

We understand that here at BLF… “UF everywhere” (Ultra-fire everywhere)…

For what it’s worth.

But I get you poster… whenwas the last time we saw a company that said, “hey, that’s not 92 octane you’re putting in your tank…”

I like fasttechs descriptions for the batteries……. many of them have disclaimers for lower mAh… good job fasttech!

with quick minds here and fast ordering fingers too. 8)

Oh, they seem to have Pop-Lite Headlamps in stock:

0.36c more expensive than on DX but I rather not order there. Takes ages to reach here :frowning:

You are an awesome friend!

Yeah, we'd like to know current on High (or whether it's direct-drive or current regulated) at the very least, and mode spacing (i.e. 100% - 50% - 10% or whatever it is) would be helpful. Without knowing the current on high we don't know what the drive could be used for and would have to chance buying it.

Thanks,

Garry

I have submitted several drivers to them via their product request page. ;)

Really happy to see such good feedback on this site!

FastTech is really raising the bar in several areas, IMO. The pictures are great and accurate, and the descriptions make a clear effort to be honest instead of parroting slogans.

Westerners will consistently pay a bit extra for this honesty and communication. I hope you continue in this model, look forward to buying from you!

Well I changed my order of 6 x Samsung 18650s and changed it to 8 Trustfire Flames - assuming they are legit. ~2600mAh of power that works in some of my cheaper flashlights is better than 2800mAh of expensive batts that don’t work.

I then looked on there just now and spotted the 7 LED bug eye monster and thought I had to buy it. I then spotted it took batts that I dont have so ordered some of them.

The batt order was placed yesterday, I cancelled it at 11:30 UK time, received an instant gift voucher for the amount I spent and then bought a different order. 1 hour 10 mins later I had confirmation of shipping with shipping number for my new order.

I’ve just placed the order now - 7:45pm UK time (06/12/12) for the 7LED crazy thing and the batts so it’ll be interesting to see how long they take.

Well I ordered a pair of TF Flame 26650's (can not beat that price!) and this 2 mode 17mm driver. I can't make any promises on when I can get around to testing it and reporting back on current draws though.

You have a link for this “bug-eyed monster”?

Hi Jasmine, welcome. It is nice to see your company taking an interest in us flashlight nerds. I think you will find good feedback here.

I ordered a Fandyfire UV-S5 (King clone) from Fasttech a couple weeks ago. It arrived in less than 2 weeks, which is a new record for foreign vendors! Speed and service like this matter and can make the difference between eagerly ordering again, nervously ordering again, or avoiding altogether. Other vendors [:cough: manafont :cough:] could learn alot from Fasttech on shipping speed.

It was this speed in which I received my order and Fasttech’s pricing that brought me back about a week or so later. Had to get the Rook to match the UV-S5, naturally! At it’s current price I just couldn’t help myself.

If Fasttech keeps this up and continues to price items this aggressively they will continue to have a repeat customer right here.

After seeing so much positive feedback decided to finally get King (FandyFire UV-S5).

Great thinking, I assume a Nanjg or two was in there?

another happy customer of fast tech. received 5 sipik68, and 8 batteries from them .

all batteries were above 3.8 volts.

ordered on the 25. shipped on the 28th.

Ask and ye shall receive! Saw the nitecore i2 and i4 in the new section!

Ive made 3 orders so far and 2 of them have arrived already.

I find this both a awesome and bad, awesome because that sort of speed is almost unheard of from an asian based seller, bad because that buy, button is a little bit too easy to push.

Any chance you could get the balder HD-1 in to go with my soon to be ordered nitecore i4?

If its v1 at $24 it’s only a buck less than Amazon (v2 is $28 on the river)

Might be a great deal for those outside the US?

i4 V1 es no bueno
Considering they have the i2, I would assume that the i4 is V2…
