How did we do? (FastTech.com)

The only way to find out 100% for sure is to buy one or ask the seller.
Unfortunately, none of us have done that…

Hello BLF and Fastech,

sorry I am not 100% certain of this, but will these 2 dropins fit Solarforce L2P bodies?

Ultrafire T6

Ultrafire XPG-R5

you betcha! They will both work.

thank you!

I am going to see the throw difference between XPG and XML in an L2P and also going to compare the

T6 to the Solarforce XML-U2 I got with the flashlight, I have read that the Solarforce dropins

are driven fairly conservatively.

If I am brave enough, I may try to put the XPG in the M3 head I have.

Ordered them, a TR-3T6 and a RC ’copter.

+1. Output current and diameter are the critical specs for drivers. Likewise it would be nice to see the optic diameter as well as beam on the main page. I went through every optic looking for a particular size that I should be able to locate more readily. This is the most frustrating shortcoming of KD. They don’t include detailed info on products and I refuse to buy on a guess.

but it’s one web site model that sux in that department. HITH can ya buy anything without a decent description and specs when it especially involves electronics? Ridiculous. Absurd. And stubid. :cowboy_hat_face:

The other one that sux in one area is Manafont’s. That one area AFAIK is the lack of a “Wish List”. If they do have one hidden somewheres I’d like to know.

This is mainly why the FastTech’s of the world are eventually gonna eat their dino’ butts for lunch. They have their act together.

Don´t feel sorry, no bubbles bursted

Possibly higher output, yes.
Pop-Lites are pretty expensive but keep in mind You have to get 2 x 18650 for that setup plus a charger.

Good point about Pop-lites is, that they surprisingly include a no-nonsense, true 2200mAh battery and a basic charger.

edit:
It also has ramping and no flashy modes. 2 - mode rear-lights also (who needs these, bicyclists??).

Another thing is, that I´m looking back at about 20+ of these ordered without a single malfunction, defect or manufacturing flaw of anykind.
One was heavily dropped, led got loose and I had to replace it.

Note, that none of these is for my personal use
I do not accept a zoomie very easily for my personal headlamp use. I have now some generic R5 2 x 18650 zoomie, which had terrible beam but got a good flooder when I stripped the optics away.

I might very well test that XM-L one, could you give a little hint about the width of the zoom?
For example, how wide beam when zoomed out and at 10 feet from wall?

FastTech still has posted a deal yet? I’m spending money everywhere else speading my wealth on non-flashlight items. FastTech my wallet is getting thinner please post some deals soon, I have a few dollars left to give you.

HOLY MOLLY!!! that was fast!!!.. i certainly didn’t expect to receive my trust fire Tr-J18 so fast
ordered on 11/30 now it’s here!!, i still didn’t get my stuffs from T-mart yet ( and they’re in US warehouse)

i was going to wait and see before i purchase anything else… but this??
i can certainly place an order for my next order with peace of mind… two thumbs up… fast tech !!!

My order tracking has stopped, the website just says that tracking can only update with the item signed for ie delivered, its left Hong Kong so I’m hoping it’ll be here this week some time, unless those buggers at customs decide to mess about :expressionless:

Still, I’ll be ordering a few drivers and hopefully some emitters in January, my stock box needs filling with common drivers, emitters, o-rings etc. 8)

My tracking has gone to poop too. Ill update when stuff arrives.
Only spent $150 with them to test them out

do you know if this driver support 3 XML -T6 leds?

can you guys start stocking HID flashlight too?? that will be awesome!!

As above. A big headed hid for around $150 would be ideal

I have no idea. I wouldn't expect to drive 3 with it. If you could, they would each be driven at 1/3 the total output I believe. You'd probably want something like this, but I don't know your intended input voltage.

-Garry

Damm Gary you gamble high……a $1.81 driver you don’t know the output on……

Review when its tested please, it looks like a good civilian model…if you trust them on lithiums

Oh, if it goes low-strobe, I reserve the right to do this :stuck_out_tongue:

Just ordered a TR-J18 and the FandyFire UV-S5, and 2 TrustFire 26650 4000mAh's, using GOTECH coupon code. Great prices!! Biggest lights I have now are the Crelant 7G9 and the FandyFire STL-V2, so this will be a step up.

I ordered a few things on the afternoon of Dec 4th. They were delivered in California on Dec 10th. Very nice. Keep up the good work!
