How did we do? (FastTech.com)

Be patient for US adddress… it seems from the postings here that FASTTTech ships ePPPacket… there’s a gap fore it gets to merica…… once the west coast getttts the thegooooods, itwill be updated.

Ok, I sent an inquiry to FastTech support on the current draw of this driver. Here is their response:

Sorry about the missing information. This is one that was listed a week ago and the girls didn't have any clues about the specs. We're going to expand on it now. Here's the data we got

from the 1-mode driver (1114501):

Input V Draw Output Current
4.2V 260mA 790mA
4V 260mA 780mA
3.8V 350mA 800mA
3.6V 400mA 800mA
3.4V 500mA 780mA
3.2V 650mA 800mA
below 3.1v 0 0 (battery protection mode)

Kind regards,

I’m in the UK so it shouldn’t be a problem

i also ordered the same things as you… love that TR-J18 it’s really bright… the catch is, you have to use the extension that came with it to see the full potential of that light ( hint: it’s brighter than Fandy fire UV-S5)

dang… too bad that driver is to big… i need something like 17mm

Kyle has contacted me to let me know that they are about to upload empty SMO p60 pills and they are tracking down a source for OP versions as well. It just gets better and better with them. 8)

I just put up a poll for the US addresses to see how quickly goods are received from ePacket and others… wondering now how suppliers like fasttech (and others) do around the globe?

Oh - thanks! Guess I have to order another pair of 26650's to have 3 for the best power? I got King Kong's but they are unprotected, used for single cell lights. Should order the TrustFire 3000 flames (2500-2600) for the UV-S5 anyway, great price on those as well. I got a bunch of protected 18650's, but up to 2 of the same kind. I do have 4 EagleTac 3100's, but using 3 of them in the 7G9.

When I ordered my TN31 from thrunite-store it came from HongKong via DHL.

When I order from DealExtreme stuff usually takes 6 weeks.

Lots of stuff comes via chinapost and the tracking simply doesn’t work BUT stuff via ebay has recently been taking about 2 weeks.

Just ordered the FandyFire “skyray” last nite….got shipping notice this morn. We’ll see. :santa:

Ordered 6x Samsung 2800mAh cells on 28th December, got them today. Planning to test them over the weekend, I’ll report whether they’re genuine & up to specs, or not.

Sigh… price increase already beginning. :frowning:

These were $0.69 for 3+ orders just a couple of days ago when I bought them, now they’re $0.80 for 3+.

Didn’t last too long.

That is AWESOME delivery. They must use a delorean to deliver their packages!

My orders still not arrived :frowning: although toni did comment that she’s getting familiar with the postie, I’ve had a few lights arrive from within the UK for mods….

$.011… no need to grieve that bad :expressionless:

It’s just grievance over how quickly price picks up. It’s not even over “honeymoon” period yet.

i ordered 2 pairs of 26650 just for this light

Fasttech - How about starting a thread and giving us BLF’s a heads up when your about to
release an item?

question - anyone have this light/power supply?

The same light without battery included takes 3xAA or 26550. Im
wondering if this is the same? Can i replace with a high Capacity 26650 and
use the USB?

It looks as if you would need to pull off the circuit and attach it to your battery in order for it to work.
