I did put it behind the 80mm reflector from cutter.com. At 3amps, it did 45-50kcd. Not sure about a mag reflector, or even the led mag reflector. Going to have to order a few more to play with now... these emitters just put out a ridiculous amount of lumens almost effortlessly.

I think i speak for everyone when I say we’re dying to know what that beam profile is like.
my first inclination is to stick this emitter on a big heatsink inside the defiant spotlight (92mm, xm-l). I’m imagining the same or slightly less throw than stock but light everywhere :bigsmile:

I have a school girl daughter. She has been warned to watch out for a mad scientist/machinist with a crazed look on his face carrying a 4 led mag light weapon. She asked if the 6 amp HD-2010 would ward you of to which I fainted after I squeaked out noooooooooooooo. Be warned though she does have her black belt.

I can’t stop thinking of how I’d love to pull that thing from its inconspicuous hiding spot in my pocket, show my friends a light the size of 2xAA’s, turn it on in the pitch black winter and immediately turn it into daylight. That is a light that will earn some WOW factor from people.

That’s just amazing! I have a question about the MT-G2 emitter - is this a natural flooder, or a candidate for best thrower? I realise the beamshots for this light are floody because of the MM reflector, but in general, would it be a good thrower?
(Or, in other words, if it is, come on Match, let’s see a killer thrower) :bigsmile:
