Cree Q5 vs Q3

I have a Hucksby P2 that I like. It is versatile and uses various types of batteries. It is also cheap.
Both DX and Kaidomain have one. The DX is a Q5 and the Kaidomain one is Q3.

Is there a great difference between the two? From various posts I prefer to order from Kaidomain. I have never ordered from them.

Appreciate any advice or comments.
Thanks,
Jerry

About 10-40 lumens depending on the driver.

I assume the advantage rests with the Q5. I have read a lot of dissatisfaction with DX.
Thanks, Jerry

I think DX is fine, you never hear people saying every time they get something fast and have good service experiences because that is just normal for most.

The negative stuff is the same people posting a dozen times in a dozen threads because something was out of stock for example.

They have a customer rep here (Sandy) that is friendly and will do their best to help if there is any problems.

There is no way I know of to distinguish a XRE-Q3 from a XRE-Q5 visually, and it is very hard to tell from the difference in output, and I expect the cheap chinese sellers to use whatever bin, Q3's when Q5's are promised but also the other way around, a Q5 when Q3 is stated.

(what happened to Q4 ?, never see a Q4 around..)
