How did we do? (FastTech.com)

this cheap 8x7135 driver is new for me:

http://www.fasttech.com/products/1699/10001751/1127403-8-amc7135-5-mode-led-flashlight-driver-circuit-gen

I was going to order one just to see what MCU it comes with. Highly doubt it's an ATtiny13 :(

The postman brought me my packages both today and yesterday so that is the 6th 》 17th… at Xmas time that isn’t bad!

Anyone want to try out FastTech's new arrival "Enelong NiMh Batteries"?

-Garry

Too closely priced against the Fujifilm 2300. I mean, 15cents… between unknown 2100mAh vs real deal 2300mAh.

EDIT: I better put the current price - in case FT changes them again. The Fuji is priced $8.34 currently vs $8.19 for Enelong.

What the hell? link

*with moo effects?

Alright, which one of you guys requested this??? Fess up!

The Usual Suspect? coughkreislercough

Hello Fast Tech !

Any chance of stocking some Sanyo UR16650ZT 2100mAh Li-ion Battery or something of comparable quality?

I know that many here could use them including myself.

Great work on the shipping front. From now on will check your site first, so if you have it, I’ll buy from you. Please sell 3- mode 3amp 3-18V buck driver in 17mm size.

My first order arrived today (but actually it’s the second I placed). Only 10 days to Germany. Absolute record for me (including Ebay orders). If you keep this speed (I used tracked mail because of the small difference) you are hitting DX and others right in their weakest spot, so you’ll get a lot of orders soon….

BUT…
I have a couple problems with the items I ordered ( a fire starter-wrong sku sent- and a jet lighter missing part). I just sent the message with pics and info, let’s see how it works. I understand that everyone, specially new companies, might need some time to polish things up. So let’s see if the customer service is as good as the shipping (and, again, fast service and good customer service are probably the two main worries for most customers and the biggest disappointments we get with your competitors).

I’ll post my experience with CS from Fasttech to keep everyone informed. Gentlemen, :face_with_monocle:

I just tried the 10% off coupon code GOTECH and it has stopped working for me….

I guess that was our last chance to get some smoking deals!

Merry Christmas. :santa:

Still great deals at their "current" regular prices though! I do predict we'll see these rise in the future.

-Garry

Yup, still great indeed.

Does anyone know how DX started out? Did they raise their prices once they gained popularity?

I am a little confused about XML tints and catalog numbers.

The T5 is listed as "T5-5C1 / 4000K" whereas the T4 is listed as "T4-7C / 5000K"

Shouldn't the tint on T5 = 5000K and T4 = 4000K? In other words, the T5 should be " "T5-5C1 / 5000K", and T4 should be "T4-7C / 4000K"

It looks like those numbers are reversed. Great prices on these. I want to order but would like to get some confirmation I will receive the correct tint.

I believe a 7C should be between 3000k & 3500k. I could be wrong and expect to be corrected if I am. A 5C bin should be between 4000k & 4500k

Not sure Hill, although if you're thinking a T5 always equates to a 5000k, and same for the T4, that's not right. The bin doesn't really mean anything in regards to tint (although lower tints tend to be lower bins).

Anyway, I just noticed FastTech added new drivers such as the LD-29. Check the new arrivals page for Dec. 20th! I also see P60 driver rings? Handy for those 20mm to 17mm adaptations (I think).

-Garry

So 7C = ~3000K, 5C1 = ~4000K and 3C = ~5000K
