Hrm, Craig from Illum. Supply checked with nitecore and they said it’s a T5. Where did you hear it’s a T6?
Rikr, those look like selfbuilt pics. Thanks for the info. I’d like to see a distance shot between the pa40, and your ea4.

flashlight man says that the EA4 kills the PA40 that’s why I found that link to give you an idea on how good of a light this EA4 is…
how does that button feel?
how does that button feel?
It feels tight not spongy. I dig the blue light on the switch, I think that is such a cool feature!!
That pic of the Pa40 really has some FLOOD…would like to see the EA4 with it in the same framework.

I do!! It is very impressive for how small it is. I am so glad I got it. Whoever decides not to get this light is making a big mistake!! I can’t get over how far it throws!!

Hi Brad
Selfbuilt has the TK35 at 20,150 lux. Do you think his 100 yard beam shot of the TK35 would be pretty close to what could be expected from the EA4 ?
At 20,000 lux, it will have less throw than a TK35 to put that in perspective.
Isn’t the EA4 listed at 20,000? If so you would be hard pressed to notice 150 difference.

You will thank me when you get yours!!
Guys,
I’ll be honest with you. When you got a pocket rocket this size that throws about like a TK35, that’s saying something for this light. That’s pretty dang bad to the bone when you think about it. And the light is a looker!

Yep.
Selbuilt revised it with his new light meter that has been calibrated to ANSI standards.
He now has the TK35 at 22,500 lux. I think the TK35 may have a slightly bigger mm head, but other than that this EA4 should compete with it especially for the price and its size.
If you have been following my recent high-output/multi-emitter light reviews recently, you may have noticed some discussion (on my part) of the accuracy of my standard lux light meter for throw measures. I have a custom set-up with a...
