My Nitecore EA4

flashlight man says that the EA4 kills the PA40 that’s why I found that link to give you an idea on how good of a light this EA4 is…

how does that button feel?

It feels tight not spongy. I dig the blue light on the switch, I think that is such a cool feature!!

That pic of the Pa40 really has some FLOOD…would like to see the EA4 with it in the same framework.

You like this little guy dont you?

i do. im going to have to get it on ebay most likely though after xmas. always get $50-100 ebay gift card for xmas, which is going to be this. dont think i have heard one bad thing about it from anyone that bought it

I like this one.

I do!! It is very impressive for how small it is. I am so glad I got it. Whoever decides not to get this light is making a big mistake!! I can’t get over how far it throws!!

I like the blue better…

Hi Brad

Selfbuilt has the TK35 at 20,150 lux. Do you think his 100 yard beam shot of the TK35 would be pretty close to what could be expected from the EA4 ?

Isn’t the EA4 listed at 20,000? If so you would be hard pressed to notice 150 difference.

your testing my resolve aren’t you

You will thank me when you get yours!!

Guys,

I’ll be honest with you. When you got a pocket rocket this size that throws about like a TK35, that’s saying something for this light. That’s pretty dang bad to the bone when you think about it. And the light is a looker!

Yep.

Selbuilt revised it with his new light meter that has been calibrated to ANSI standards.

He now has the TK35 at 22,500 lux. I think the TK35 may have a slightly bigger mm head, but other than that this EA4 should compete with it especially for the price and its size.

To be honest i wish i had gotten this light instead of the cyclone but i didn’t know about it at the time

I’m partial to the blue also. but that’s all preference

Is the flashing red power switch the low battery indicator?

How much less bright is the light on the next level down from the top ? It sounds like high would be very temporary due to heat.

and receive the light in about 3 days
