I do!! It is very impressive for how small it is. I am so glad I got it. Whoever decides not to get this light is making a big mistake!! I can’t get over how far it throws!!

Hi Brad
Selfbuilt has the TK35 at 20,150 lux. Do you think his 100 yard beam shot of the TK35 would be pretty close to what could be expected from the EA4 ?
At 20,000 lux, it will have less throw than a TK35 to put that in perspective.
Isn’t the EA4 listed at 20,000? If so you would be hard pressed to notice 150 difference.

You will thank me when you get yours!!
Guys,
I’ll be honest with you. When you got a pocket rocket this size that throws about like a TK35, that’s saying something for this light. That’s pretty dang bad to the bone when you think about it. And the light is a looker!

Yep.
Selbuilt revised it with his new light meter that has been calibrated to ANSI standards.
He now has the TK35 at 22,500 lux. I think the TK35 may have a slightly bigger mm head, but other than that this EA4 should compete with it especially for the price and its size.
If you have been following my recent high-output/multi-emitter light reviews recently, you may have noticed some discussion (on my part) of the accuracy of my standard lux light meter for throw measures. I have a custom set-up with a...

Is the flashing red power switch the low battery indicator?
How much less bright is the light on the next level down from the top ? It sounds like high would be very temporary due to heat.
Craig over at illumination supply has a sale going on. discount code ea4
and receive the light in about 3 days
Thanks for the beamshots but I decided to pass as I have too many lights at almost the same lumens!
thing thats so attractive on this one isnt the lumens, its the form factor of it
im just waiting for someone thats actually bought it that has something negative to say… dont see it coming though
