Thank you for your hardwork and efforts to expedite shipments. I have an order placed after 12/15 that has been sitting in HK waiting for acceptance. I understand this is out of your control and feel the frustration that many of us do. However, I also understand this is likely due to the holiday rush and represents something that is out of the norm for the remainder of the year.
Please continue to update your catalog with items suggested hear and you will find us very happy to continue placing orders.
Amazingly quick response (DX, please, ask these guys how they manage….). Copy and paste of the email they sent me:
“Hi flacomuchacho,
I’m sorry about these problems. They are definitely caused by oversights in the product QC process.
We’ll send you a replacement flint (large sized) and a butane base/stand right away.
You will receive a shipment notification and a new tracking number when the replacements ship. You can also find and track your replacement shipment within your FastTech account.
We have already run through our inventory and have made sure the products are now correct.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with. Thanks!
Kind regards,
Kyle

No BS, they plainly acknowledge their mistake and give a solution and improve their service. Elegant and simple. This policy may be costly in the beginning for them, but they make sure we become their marketing department. Even the simple invoice they include makes them look way more serious than the rest.
I’m waiting for my first package but I guess the weather here doesn’t let a fast delivery.
Then, I received a mail a week ago. They said a flashlight optics pack of 5 could have been sent in single quantity and I may receive only one item instead of 5. They warned me that I should be sure I get the right amount of items otherwise just post them for 4 items more to be sent.
Warning without incident isn’t something we are used to.
I just placed a $50+ order for tons of little parts, including a generic 105C (I'll report back on what components it has). Ordered some more drivers for custom programming, a car charger, and Arduino stuff. I'm excited!
Jasmine seems to be very responsive. I posted a question on their site, and she responded very fast…assuring me that they would look into some items I had requested (Kindle accessories, phone cases etc.) I have not placed an order, but have several a few items on my wishlist, and will pull the trigger when they get some Kindle items in.
I requested the cgr18650ch batteries but see they are mixed up (pictures) with the cgr18650cg (greens)…I want to make sure I get the hybrid IMR ones not the green ones…sent a ticket in…
I ordered on 12-20-12. They have marked it as shipped on 12-22-12. That is as good as as any overseas company has done, so they are OK for now. Once they have shipped, it is totally out of their hands, so no one can fault them if it is lost in shipping, or if it takes a month or more. I have found that most of my delays in shipping end up being US Customs. I can believe, that they just sit on their duffs and take their sweet time. If they are like the rest of the US postal system, "hurry" in not in their vocabulary. The only postal people that hurry are the mail carriers, especially the ones that have to do walking deliveries. I don't envy them.
So FastTech, thanks for getting my order shipped promptly. I will see how the quality is, when it arrives.
