This item really has an 1W led or is a 5mm led like Nichia K1 (20 lumens) or clone ?
I cant take it apart but im willing to bet its a nichia.......so far i have used nimh, 3.2volt and lastly 3.7volt lithiums with no ill side effects. The kids love them and so do i........i have a clear one that i got for myself.
I also ordered 1 of each color to give to my nephews and nieces. Still waiting for them though. 
They will love it man......you might just have little flashaholics running around.
I know my nephew Kyle will love it as much as I do. He tends to want to do everything I do and go everywhere I go. I can see him leaving here with several of my torches.
You better check his pockets........lol.
LOL It's all good. He's my favorite nephew so all he has to do is ask and it's his. All I want him to do is to keep his grades up and he can have anything he wants.

I was just about to buy a few of the 1W Rubber lights and see there are price breaks for quantities of 2, 3 and 6 but when I put 3 different colours in my cart there is no discount.
Did you guys get the discount when buying separate colours?
I realise it’s not much off but as they say, a penny saved is a penny earned.... or some crap like that.

You might try buying in quantity and then sending a note with your order asking for mixed colors.

I read in the review section a previous buyer ended up getting all one colour so was just looking for assurance before buying.

Just went ahead and ordered, I'm not the most patient of people.
Although the 15% off discount code (mem15) didn't work, the 10% one (out10) did, so saved a bit.
Do I get it right: It will take 14500s without problems?
Mine did......i also was using 3.2volts lico cells as well with no problems at all.

I just posted it, it does work at least with my sample, 3.2volt lico's and 3.7volt litiums.

It's been 3+ weeks and a dozen or more emails and Golden Gadgets hasn't contacted me. They emailed me in the beginning and after about a week they stopped. They owe me $10 and I know that's not a lot but it still bugs the crap out of me. I am very loyal when it comes to retail and online stores but as soon as I get screwed even once, that's it. So until Golden Gadgets fixes things with me, they can go F**K themselves until then. |(
