16- 17 days for an unregistered free HK post, very good especially in this busy period!

All items in good condition and everything is as advertised.

You guys are now one of my favorite stores.

I ordered on 12-20-12. They have marked it as shipped on 12-22-12. That is as good as as any overseas company has done, so they are OK for now. Once they have shipped, it is totally out of their hands, so no one can fault them if it is lost in shipping, or if it takes a month or more. I have found that most of my delays in shipping end up being US Customs. I can believe, that they just sit on their duffs and take their sweet time. If they are like the rest of the US postal system, "hurry" in not in their vocabulary. The only postal people that hurry are the mail carriers, especially the ones that have to do walking deliveries. I don't envy them.

So FastTech, thanks for getting my order shipped promptly. I will see how the quality is, when it arrives.

i placed a larger order 12/05 and it is currently sitting in san francisco!

We have taken notes of several requests made here such as batteries and hobby chargers. I’m not going to make a list here but we have definitely got them on our lists.

The GOTECH coupon was scheduled to expire on 12/15/2012 though it was allow a little overtime. We’re preparing a BLF exclusive coupon and that should be ready short after Christmas.

Just a quick update on shipping: as demonstrated by action, FastTech is highly committed in shipping times. However, we have noticed massive USPS delays for orders shipped after Dec 12, 2012. This is obviously caused by the Christmas season.

Delays are happening virtually at all points along the delivery pipeline. We’ve seen orders stuck in the California sorting center since Dec 14, 2012, orders waiting for flights for a week, and even orders sitting in the “arrival at unit” state (delivery post office) for almost a week.

If your order is affected, we feel the same frustration you do and we are very sorry about it. FastTech works very hard to get orders out of its doors. Once they are out, there is really not much we can do. But if your order looks “stuck” according to online tracking, please let us know and we’ll try our best to find out its current status.

I just checked the tracking on my first FastTech order. Interestingly there is no mention of customs (like there usually is) and the current status says "Forwarded" and lists my local post office as its location. This is a problem as I never have orders delivered to my home, but to my office. Not sure why it's "forwarded". Could it have been forwarded from my work address? (No tracking info to say it was.). I have a feeling that even though I chose my work address as my shipping address that FastTech shipped to my home address. Now I have to intercept the mail before the wife! This order was placed Dec 6th by the way.

I got some batteries delivered xmas eve. The holders were mostly broken or broke upon opening but the batteries appear to be good.

CORRECTION: I had mixed up my home zipcode with my work street address, so no problem on their part. Oops! I am having trouble editing my address on their website but that might be an issue using my iPhone. There is no "edit" button only "Add New Address". I added a new one, but there is no option to delete an address.

Now I see that the "forwarded" status means my local post office forwarded to my work address.

Thank you again everyone for your orders. As promised in an earlier post, we have been readying a BLF exclusive coupon, and here it is:

It is simply BLF. This coupon gives 5% off all (or very close to all) products under flashlights, lasers, batteries, and chargers categories.

Fine prints:

Like the GOTECH coupon, it’s not stackable with other offers such as volume discounts.
Unlike the GOTECH coupon, it is no longer limited to the first item of each product in you order. Discounts are applied to all products that aren’t already discounted by other offers.

The GOTECH coupon took 10% off the first of each product. That was intended as a time limited offer and quite frankly at 10%, pretty much every order is sold at a loss.

We have seen concerns that FastTech may increase price soon. I’d like to take the chance to clarify that because we are here for good, price increases are not going to happen for quite some time to come. Normal price changes do happen when distributors and manufacturers adjust their supply costs, and most of these are price reductions rather than increase.

We expect this coupon to have a long term validity. In other words, this is going to remain valid until we come with up something even better.
