Do you know if the tube diameter/length in stock configuration would work with 3x26650?

It depends on the 26650, but most likely not. :( The 26650s are a tad bit to thick in my experience.

I already had to bore a 2x16340 light to fit a 16650. I guess I’ll pass on the C-mag then

You could just use 18650s, there isn't that much of a difference between 3400 and 4500. (18650 v. 26650)

True, but I have a pile of 18650 lights and only 1 26650 light, would like another.

I sold a friend of mine a 2D LED Maglite that I got on Black Friday. (Of course for no more then I paid, he is a friend after all ). He was so thrilled with it, he GAVE me his old 2C Ican Mag. Said he had no use for it being that it was obsolete. I will mod it some how but boy is that form factor neat. C mags a kind of rare.

Nice project — love the Cs.

And @scaru: the 7Cs were mass produced, though I’m not sure what kind of quantities. (I got lucky and found 12 NIB last year.)

Thanks to those who bid on this auction. I kinda hate to see the old 5C Mag go, but it's going to someone who will actually use it (or mod it).

I'm not sure if the winner is a member here or not, but I'm sure it's going to a good home.

could have been. i wasnt really interested in the light myself. if i wanted something like this, id get the bat, mase, or SF one… id actually like all three… hang them from the key ring hanger by the front door lol

congrats on the sale. quite the flip. and hope to see what the buyers intentions are with it
